15 poetry projects

It is a photography book accompanied by poems by different authors from the Mediterranean along with our own chronicles. We want to show the hidden face of Palestine. We want to witness daily life as also resistance. We want to make a tribute to the beauty of the people from Gaza.

Our choir will record a video-concert to premiere this work based on the poem dedicated by the Catalan poet Joan Maragall to nature and love

I´m Solange Freyre, alma mater of The New Urban Tango. It´s an overall concept, with Tango as the referent music: urban, poetic, atemporal, full of resources. We wish to record a high quality DVD to show and take the project throughout the world. We need your help and passion!

This is a multicultural project of collective creation that gives value to the human variety. 55 people from different places show us their Ithacas in their native languages through texts turned into visual poems. Individual identities facing collective identity with a touch of suggestive images.

- I find "this and that thing join to create bla, bla, bla..." a very tired phrase. - ¡Let's do something else instead! And so is how the project arose.
