THE BOOK

The Woman Tree is an illustrated poetic work inspired by conversations with trees. It connects women of all ages with the feminine universe and nature.

Through a creative and playful poetic narrative, the book aims to inspire a deep dialogue with our inner and outer world and create a sense of belonging to the natural world.

Our intention with this book is to touch your soul and reveal your feminine nature through poetic simplicity and partially abstract images.

Whether you are an adult or a child, this book will be completed by your presence, because it is between us that we form the unity.

The bilingual publishing house Babi-di-bú will print the book in Spanish and Portuguese and, with the campaign's support, in French for distribution in Belgium (the author's country of residence) and France.

We are counting on the campaign's support to make the book easily distributed in Brazil, the author's country of origin.

We need the support of this campaign to cover the printing costs of the French version in Belgium and the distribution of the Portuguese version in Brazil, the author's country of origin, where the book was conceived, and to reach women trees in Latin America.

A BOOK FOR EVERYONE

The Woman Tree is a book for women of any age. A book to be read alone or among friends; between mothers and daughters, granddaughters and grandmothers, sisters or companions.

It is a book of many readings, as many as women who will go through it, who will also be part of it and it of them. Mothers, aunts, and grandmothers will find a way to share with their little ones, areas of their deepest and most intimate inner nature.

It is a great gift for teenagers or future mothers and also enriches the educational environment by weaving dialogue with a Deep Ecology, providing a space for environmental education.

ABOUT THE CREATION OF THE BOOK

How was it born?

The Tree Woman was born from a friendship between the author and the trees of the world.

Fruit of silent conversations, the feminine essence of life showed itself and was embodied through the hands of a fairy.

This book was born through a rich expressive process of self-discovery and self-construction of the author and illustrator.

The verses

The author channeled most of the verses after having connections and inspirations with trees.

These provided messages, lessons, and guidance for the author while she was passing through a geographical transition, from a tropical country (Brazil) to a temperate one (Belgium).

The author applied and still applies this wisdom of the channeled verses in moments of inner challenge and as moments of deep creativity and celebration of life.

The illustrations

The illustrator travels her unique path of self-discovery of her Tree Woman (as we hope it will happen to every reader of this book!)

The images do not seek to represent the verses of The Women Tree, but rather to open the way, thanks to their partially abstract character, for the diverse possibilities of understanding the messages that the verses bring.

Searching for this language, Natalia chose to use mixed media in which she mainly uses collage, charcoal, and colored pencils.

The verses and illustrations invite you to dance with the Tree Woman inside each reader.

About the women who create this work.

● Natashia Moraes: Author.

I am Brazilian and currently live in Belgium with my family. Writing has been part of my life since I was a little girl. But after the birth of my daughter Ananda Terra in 2013, the inspiration opened up in me to share everything I learned on my path through motherhood and the deep awakening of the sacred feminine in my being.

I have dedicated my academic life to nature conservation and homeopathic research in organic farming. I currently work with women through Aura Reading, Sacred Cocoa Ceremonies and other Ancestral Technologies.

This service allows me to deepen into the feminine universe that we are, it inspires me to write stories and poems that tell about this joint journey of all women.

In this way, I believe that I contribute to this blooming of the garden of our Great Divine Mother.

● Natalia Estrella: Illustrator

I was born in the winter of 1988 and grew up surrounded by friends in Alcalá la Real, in the south of Spain.

Granddaughter of artisans, and daughter of merchants, I graduated in Fine Arts in 2012 from the University of Granada. Afterward, I embarked on a spontaneous journey for 5 years through hot lands during which I filled countless logbooks with hundreds of graphic ideas and reflections about the natural human being and nature that I have been materializing in various editorial works.

Specifically, a large part of the imaginary of this book has as its seed the same jungle that whispered the verses that Natashia wrote.

Currently, she is dedicated to art education with elementary and kindergarten students.

The Tree Women is the first book we published together.

About how we will manage your contributions.

Contributions will be mainly used to cover the costs of the graphic material, the printing of the book in three languages, the production of exclusive items related to the campaign, as well as to subsidize the distribution of the Portuguese copies within the Brazilian territory, where the book, at European prices, would not be accessible.

Naturally, a part will be destined to the communication part of the project: publicity, campaign launching expenses and all the pertinent legal procedures to put the book into circulation.
