(The book is written in Catalan, but wrote in English: brief summary, reason and structure project.... All this for a better understanding of persones who are interested in our project)
Our intention is to publish, in book form, this job search. The book presents a careful study on education in Palma during the first third of the twentieth century and a tab for each of the schools built or existing at the time of the Second Republic with old photographs and current and also incorporates, among other things, detailed description of each school building and having to use today.
Although our first intention was simply graphic images collected in the school buildings of the time of the Second Republic is still holding up, as we advanced in this project we find new ways that complemented and enriched this search..
While we were developing the work, we realized the important work done in education during the short period of the Second Republic and most especially that concerning l'expansion de l'education offered concrete in new school buildings.
For two years we have traveled and photographed the schools of Palma and the result has become the work we present.
Then we collect and analyze information on the subject, we regret the disappearance of some of the most emblematic buildings of the city and thus we want to contribute to the defense of the conservation of which are still standing.
Now we want to post but for this we need the help of friends of the schools.
We also want to provide an opportunity to participate by providing suggestions, new information, documents or photographs.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
Paper edition of the book and cover costs incurred.
Our project includes the publication of the book, the planning and implementation of two itineraries Palma with a route that can view and comment on the details of the schools that make up the study and, moreover, the presentation of the results of the study centers school or entities that request.
The project does not end with this book because we are finishing the second volume that will cover all the schools of the Balearic Islands.

Tour: Sa Graduada, Finestres Verdes (one of three that Mayor Emilio Darder opened April 14, 1933), Pere Garau, and La Soledat (where the tour will end).
Tour: Cecili Metel, Institute of Hygiene (shields), Institutes (and "Anexa de Pràctiques"), Son Espanyolet and Jaume I (where the tour will end).
The tours will be conducted on foot and at least one of the three authors. The Catalan language is used. The sponsors reserve the right to change any aspect of these tours
We want to present the results of the study (book) to schools (maximum 35 students) or institutions that wish. The presentation will be made at least one of the authors. The Catalan language is used.
Only be made in schools or entities whose headquarters are in Palma (also can be done in other populations of Mallorca in agreement with the authors)
The presentation will be agreed with the person making patronage.
Immediately after the end of time the project will be printing copies.
The books will be delivered to patrons attending the presentation ceremony to be held April 15. Also may be collected in the itineraries. When other patrons will sent by parcel post.
Itineraries and presentations are planned and carried out from the project has successfully achieved his goal.

The authors of the project are Pere J. Carrio Villalonga, Manel V. Domènech Bestard and Antoni Ramis Caldentey.
Pere J. Carrió Villalonga is Bachelor of Science in Education . He has been a Teacher, Principal, Inspector of Education and Teacher at the UIB.
Manel V. Domènech Bestard is Teacher of Social Sciences. He was Pricipal of CEPA Son Canals.
Antoni Ramis Caldentey is Social and Educational Psychologist. He has been a Teacher, Counselor and Principal at several centers Mallorca.
