¡Welcome all to this new winefunding!
(Winefunding =Crowdfunding for wine)
Let's face it: we like winefundings (And we know you like them too). We like them so much that we are launching not one but a series of winefundings (5 in total, with a lenght of 3 weeks each one) which we are going to use (with your help) to launch disruptive wines. We’ll be launching wines that don’t exist. Fun wines made to be freely enjoyed, with no strings attached. We will bring you new textures, flavours, aromas, perceptions, packaging, etc with only one target in mind: To find new ways of enjoying wine.
This is kind of a club where you will be somehow a judge, because we won’t release the product if you don’t like the idea (even though we had already done its development).
There’s a rule you’ll have to follow though, only one important rule: Forget what you have learned about wine, it won’t be applicable from now on.
If you enjoy drinking always the same thing and like to follow the herd, we regret to say this might not be what you're looking for.
On the other hand: Adventurers, we welcome you!
Let’s now begin with winefunding #1: Lupulado.
Lupulado: Join the #WineREvolution
To start with let’s begin looking back into history, some 9000 or 10000 years BC, when mankind discovered how to grow cereals and, for the first time ever, they could settle down: The crops they could harvest would be enough for them to survive through the whole year long. They built houses and stored grains in it. Probably because one of those lucky accidents some people randomly have, grains were broken and mixed with water. Then, the mixture fermented creating one of the oldest alcoholic drinks we know: beer.
Over time, people added a mixture of different herbs (Called Grut) to add flavor and aroma to its beer. At some point in Middle Ages, hops started to be used in beermaking, as a substitute of Grut. Hops, with its characteristic aroma and distinctive flavours were able to balance the sweetness of malt and made beer last longer. Since then, we have associated hops with beermaking.
Let’s fast forward now some centuries in time, until just some months ago, right at the time when we were thinking in creating a substitute for wine to be consumed during summer time. At that time we got a present: a hops plant. And we thought: What if we add hops to wine??
So we tried, and the product was amazing! It was still wine but its aromas were dominated but those aromas hops brought: herbal, citric, tropical or mixed; depending on the variety used. The resulting wine ends with a lightly bitter touch and leaves a refreshing feeling in your mouth, such as beer does.
And there’s one more thing: as hops act as a preservative agent, we can avoid using sulphites when bottling!.
Now, in this winefunding campaign we’re bringing you the first wines created with hops (Ever?) in red, white and rose.
All of them are surprisingly tasty and really fun!

Where is your money going
Each pledge will go to the creation, packaging and shipping of your wine and what may remain will be invested in research and development of new innovative ways of enjoying wine.
