8 am - Sommeliers' new Album

Two years ago we recorded our first album that became true due to a Verkami crowdfunding project. During this period, we have been still growing up as a group and we have started to make our own creations, which will be the main protagonists of this second album and project at hand.

This second album includes 11 songs with original music and lyrics – the great majority of them – and a poem set to music. The style of these songs, although it is considerably varied - encompasses the different influences of each of us -, is still going to have its attachment point in the own and original sonority that always characterises our group. The main language used in the compositions is the Catalan language, but, as we don’t want to stop playing, the English language is going to appear, as well. For all these reasons, this album is going to be an evolution of our most

personal musical aspect integrated into the group.

Who we are

Sommeliers is a music group formed by Rocio Seligrat (voice), Violeta Paulina Sánchez (violin), Teresa Nogueron (clarinet), Laia Reverté (cello) and Patricia Romero (piano), five girls from the professional world of music, who mix a classical instrumental base with a modern music voice.

Where will the contribution go?

Thanks to the concerts we have done during these years and the earnings of our first album we can tackle the recording studio expenses. Besides, in this second album, we are going to work with the Taller de Músics, which is going to cover the part destined to the record label. For this reason, your contribution is going to help us to cover the rest of expenses, regarding the mixing and mastering, the photographs, the design and a part of the broadcasting of the project.

In case of exceeding the requested figure, the money is going to be used for the recording of a new videoclip.
