Do you know what mastocytosis is?
Do not worry, because almost nobody knows. That's why we are making a short fiction film for all audiences, with the aim of release in a fun and adventurous way, this rare disease called mastocytosis.

‘Counting Stars’ is a production by Peloki Artistic and Cultural Association, directed by Josevi Garcia Herrero. It features a spectacular cast: the very wellknown Emilio Gutierrez Caba (2 Goya Awards, Gold medal of Arts 2015), Jaime Pujol, Cristina Perales, Fede Aguado, Paula Elena Ramos, María de Paco, Javi Mendo, Yerai Martinez, Candela Illan and Hai Hu Min, among others.
The script is based on the fairy tale 'The Itchy Itchy Constellation' by Isabel de Ron, illustrated by Deborah Jackel.

Emilio Gutierrez Caba will be our doctor, what a privilege for us! Candela Illan, a very young actress who has the disease mastocytosis plays Violet, the character with the same rare disease.
What we will do with your pledges.
With your contributions we will give light to the stars that appear in the movie, the stars of sky, as our movie stars work voluntarily, with all their generosity. You know that all the technical things cost a lot of money and we need many stars, special effects, music and other details to give life to the film and they are indispensable to make it round. It is called the post-production of the film. We will also set the English subtitles, and who knows... maybe we could also dubbing it into other languages.

Candela Illán and María de Paco.

Our experience
Just over a year ago we made the short film Magic Wand for sale to help spreading the voice about lupus disease. Based on the story by Isabel de Ron, he premiered in London and even became ** classified in the Short Film Corner at Cannes 2015 **. We hope to go much further with "Counting Stars"!!
** You can watch MAGIC WAND FOR SALE today, with any contribution to the project **

** Counting Stars ** continues the story of the Paula, main character in Magic Wand for Sale and share the same social interest. Most of the team that worked on the lupus project collaborate on the short film of mastocytosis.

Hello, Helen. Thank you so much for your question. Unfortunately we are already struggling to finish the film in Spanish... so it looks very unlikely we can dubbing it into English, at least this year. What we can promise is to subtitle it as we did with the shortfilm about lupus "Magic Wand for sale". (If you couldn't set the subtitles, please let us know). However, this is a long term project and if it succeed for sure we will love to see it in other languages.
Helen
