Nina & Guruguru are going to Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We will busk on the street and we need a little help to make this dream comes true!
About us
Nina & Guruguru, Monia Baldini and Andres Tuells Jansson, met each other at Philippe Gaulier International Theatre School in Paris. She is italian, he is spanish. They like to make fun of things. This is their first performance together and the streets of Edinburgh are perfect for a new theatre adventure.
Our project
We have a new independent project called Eye Eye (stop hurting me) which is going to debut as a street show in Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014: twenty minutes, twice a day, in the Royal Mile, the main street in the heart of the city, full of performers and visitors.
In Eye Eye (stop hurting me), like in La Strada of Federico Fellini, Nina & Guruguru are living and performing everyday on the street of the World.
Horrible and beautiful, they are humans like everyone else.
The show is inspired by clown and bouffon's language: the fundamental connection with the audience and the laugh as a final target.
Nina & Guruguru want to play their dream, a chance of a new life where everything is just a game.
We are all freaks, bouffons and slaves but we need to know it for laugh, mock it and make fun of it.
Our topics are innocence, rebellion and hope.
Why do we need money?
In the Festival everyone can stop, look at us, leave some money, some laughs, some smiles, some glimpses, some glances... but we need an extra help from followers, friends, friends of friends and believers!
Because we are going to get our income just by busking on the street during the days of the Festival and we have calculated that this is not going to be enough to give us the the right conditions to create a good show.
So these 800 euro fundraising campaign is going to help us to cover the costs of ten days rehearsal in Tuscany before the Festival, accommodation in Edinburgh and our travel's tickets.
About the rewards
We really wish that you can help us to make this dream comes true and we offer you funny and serious rewards that we will prepare after the end of the Festival.
We are really greatful for our followers and supporters so we created for them a blog where we are going to share step by step this experience and everyone can comment and give us precious opinions and suggestions.
All of our contents are available in three different languages: english, italian and spanish for help the people of different countries to understand better what we want to communicate.

From the 25 of july until 3 of august we have our rehearsal time in Tuscany, Italy
From 5 to 25 august we are going to be in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
