When the flags score goals

The sport is very present in our lives: we practise it, see it, adore it and, especially, we find in him modals. Anyhow, always we have imagined the sport as an activity that generates entertainment, as an activity of leisure.

Of all forms, the physical activity, especially the media one, hides strong sociological complements that indicate that the sport goes beyond the entertainment, which affects our lives of incredible form. An example of this impact is the existing relation entity the football and the national identity, between the sport king and the narrative construction of different patriotic feelings.

In fact, our Senior Thesis explained, precisely, this relation. As our academic study was advancing, we realized the terribly complex and exciting thing that was the content that we were treating (relation between football and national identity). To finish, we remain with desire of more. We understand that it is necessary to penetrate and to understand more and better this relation.

And that's why we ordered, and we thank you in advance, your help and input so we can make an objective and a dream to pursue. We explain, in book form, that football is not as innocent as it seems, that football has an unimaginable political strength.

WILL ALLOCATE YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS

Your contributions will solely intended to cover travel expenses accounting for interviews and searching for information, and for editing the copies of the book. Some, too, will go to fund all the objects and give you gifts if you help us.

BOOK TITLE

Because your contributions are able to realize the book, we believe it appropriate for all you help in the project that you may choose the name of the book. How do you know, the book is about the relationship between sports (especially football) and national identity, the identity and sport. We've thought of 'When the flags score goals', but if you are interested in the project, have helped in funding and do not just like the title, you can propose other titles and seven days from the publication of the project to give Verkami know the title of the book.

CALENDAR

As we assume our Senior Thesis and having obtained financing, production schedule would be (approximately):

-Between January and February have done 3 trips that enrich our book.

By late May-early June, the book would be finished.

-Once finished, presentation at the publisher for layout, editing ...

-In two weeks approximately from the end of the book, the issue would already be available.

-Once we have the books in our possession, we would deliver the rewards to patrons.

-When the rewards have been delivered, we will ask all patrons to send us a photo [email protected] mail for inclusion in the book's promotional video.
