L'ORANGE new album: TÀCTIL

WHO ARE WE?

L'Orange is a project born of the casually meeting of two voices, a guitar and a clarinet. Pere Bestard and Poli Bauçà, in early 2010, began to create a repertoire of intimate and sensual music, full of textures, colors and shades. These songs were recorded in "L'Orange" (self-released, 2010) in the Casa del Ruido Studios, presented in a mini-tour conducted by the group in October of that year with concerts in Catalonia, France and the Basque Country. Towards the end of the year bassist Joan Planells joins the group and late summer of 2011, the formation becomes a quartet with drummer Guido Konijn, L'Orange now begins to prepare it´s first full-length work.

DETAILED PROJECT

With this crowdfunding campaign we want to edit our recently recorded CD Tactil . The work has been recorded by Pep Nadal (VAiVE Productions) and later mastered by Toni Pastor (Studies Swing). We want to deliver the work in physical format to our audience and ensure a quality and innovative product. The cover design will be done by Joan Garau who has made a making-off during the recording activities as well as a video clip of the titel song "Tactil".

HOW DOES CROWDFUNDING work ? WHY Verkami?

Crowdfunding is a method by which a project is financed by contributions from many people interested in it. In return, the contributor receives a reward and becomes part of the project. A greater contribution, a higher reward. If the Verkami project´s financial goal is achieved then the corresponding reward is handed to each contributor. In the case of not achieving the minimum target, the money is returned to contributors. In this case we, as a band, would not receive a single euro of this crowdfunding effort and the project would not take place.

We chose this proposed micro-contributor Verkami crowdfunding method because we think that nowadays it represents one of the few chances we have to get to get our music to its audience, who in turn can be part of the creative process.
