“Super 8 Role Play” is a short film produced by young filmmakers from Almería. In his previous work, Ángel Haro together with Pepe Botías directed “Exit”, which was a big success in festivals such as Cuéntalo en 90 segundos (Say it in 90 seconds), held in Almería, where they make their debut with their opera prima. The short was finalist in New talents films 3.0 in Granada, was selected for the Festival de Cine in Madrid (New Producers Platform), won the international price Mobile Film Competition Grand Prize (EOS MOVIE Award) in the Festival SESIFF (SEÚL), and another price for the best direction in the festival Cortomenar in Madrid, to name just a few.
SYNOPSIS
Super 8 Role Play
In the early 80's a young couple decide to give a last chance to their relationship through an innovative couple therapy: they exchange their roles during a walking trip through the desert with two super8 cameras as the only witness of the whole therapy. Under the sunshine, each one will put himself/herself in the other’s shoes and follows a fixed route to try to solve their differences. But, when they get into the other's role, not only will they understand his/her partner, they will also have to face certain circumstances that bring them closer to the true meaning of the therapy “super 8 role play”.

WHAT ARE YOU INVESTING IN?
Your money will not be for us, it will be destined to a project that we can make thanks to you and our hope. To do this, we need to rent the lighting, we need costumes, makeup, atrezzo and sounds equipment. Also, we will donate part of it to the catering service and the team journeys during the shooting days, at least the actors (who work disinterestedly) will not have to pay their own petrol. All this work will take place during the months of March and April and if everything goes well (we are sure about it), we hope to finish it during the month of May.

He has participated in other shorts such as El ingenio o Postales, where he worked with Ángel Haro y Pepe Botás.
O.S.T: Ángel Salazar
Teacher of musical composition and production in the School EISO.
Compositor of sound tracks for audiovisual works such as Exit, Summons or El Ingenio, he was awarded the Price Isaac Albeniz in Málaga, due to the sound track he composed for the short Therion.
He combines his audiovisual works with on live music with the group Tributo a the Doors, from Almería. He also produces Music Box together with his brother Carlos Salazar.
