WHAT I WANT TO DO
"Magnetica" project is the recording of 12 songs, most of them unpublished, others already heard by the audiences of Laura Furci's live concerts around the world.
The songs come from a store of knowledge that, together with her unusual life experiences, has been useful to convert herself into a brave and original singer and composer, of difficult cataloguing and rich exposition.

A journey "out of the comfort zone", it's her way of "living the question", of being what we really are even when life challenges and put a strain on us, an hymn to the strength to follow our dreams understanding that it's all in our own hands.
After years of travelling, composing, incredible experiences of life, Laura wants to preset her songs not only in the in the intimate version of her piano and voice, but also incorporate in this musical tissue the acoustic bass and drums of 2 internationally known great musicians creating Magnetica's trio.

WHERE IS THE PROJECT RIGHT NOW
The realization of this project is already ongoing and some demos and some video-clips have been recorded in Berlin (Trixx Studio), Potsdam (Showcase Studio) and New York (Eastsidesound Studio).
As she was traveling all the time, Laura wrote most of her songs in English, but she maintained her love for her native region, Friuli, unchanged. That's where she She took the degree in Classical Piano in The Conservatory and graduated Magna cum Laude at University. In the Cd there'll be a song in the dialect of her region (Pasolini already widely used it for his poems): Friulan language.
After years of work, traveling, experiences, concerts and collaboration with other great musicians (between them Al Jarreau, Javier Ruibal, David Binney, Ugonna Okegwo) in different countries, her fans are waiting for this work to be done! Laura wants to take the listener to a walk through an unstoppable flow of emotions reflecting the reflections that have shaped, one after the other, the different layers of her personality. Unique stories, to be tasted little by little.

HOW I AM DOING IT
Thanks to a lot of work and thanks to all your help!
The 6000 Euros I asked are not enough, clearly to do all this, but it's still a good push! The rest will come out from my next concerts in Italy!
I'll use the collected fundings for:
- recording in a professional NYC studio
- the payment of the musicians
- mixing and mastering
- graphics and photo
- 1000 copies of the Cd
- organization costs
- send and prepare all the recompenses for those who collaborate

ChEDDiRe: non è passata ancora nemmeno la metà dei quaranta giorni utili per raggiungere il budget per realizzare il progetto, e grazie a tutti voi, amici, fan e sostenitori da varie parti del mondo (ho ricevuto la prenotazione del disco e concerti privati e non da varie parti d'Italia (ovviamente da tutto il Friuli ma anche Roma, Milano, Padova ...), Spagna (da Barcellona, Madrid, Malaga, Algeciras, Cadiz, La isla, ...), Berlino, Hamburg, Sidney/Australia, New York...

siamo arrivati a quasi 2/3 del necessario, che non basterà per realizzare ciò che ho in mente :) ...ma è per me un segno, del fatto che volete bene a Laura Furci e che volete che Magnetica continui il suo cammino, che ci sono persone che continueranno ad ascoltarla...e speriamo sempre di più!

Questa è una di quelle situazioni in cui la parola "Grazie" non rende l'idea di come mi state facendo sentire.
Ma è l'unica che c'è quindi vi mando un "grazie!" volando che vi riempia di energia positiva e voglia di superare i propri limiti! E nei momenti in cui a New York sentirò piano piano realizzarsi tutto, mi ricorderò di ogni nome e cognome...e prometto che lo noterete! ...IL MAGNETISMO ESISTE...;)
