Support the development of the professional circus scene in Valencia!

CREAT is a new education and creation centre for Circus Arts in Valencia.

We offer regular classes, professional education, training space, residencies and technical and production support to professional artists.

Our aim is to not only provide a space specially designed to cover the needs of every circus artist but to become an organization that supports both national and international artists and encourages skill sharing and collaboration among artists of all sorts. An organization where the upcoming generations can learn and develop, and where people, regardless of their skill level, can find challenges to face and a community to help them do it.

¿Who are we?

This is us, we all share the same passion for the performing arts and circus in particular. We have many years of experience in this sector, both nationally and internationally, and we believe that circus and all the professionals involved with it deserve as much recognition as any other profession.

CREAT is just our very own contribution to the cause.

Very cute, but where is my money going?

All your support will help us refurbishing and equipping our new space, a beautiful 400 square meters and 9m high warehouse. Our new home needs being taken care of, it needs a new floor, bathrooms, a new office, new lights and electricity wires, windows, fireproofing, and lots of circus equipment! The investment needed is some 55.000 euros. We've already made most of this investment, mainly on infrastructures and equipment, but we need some help to take the space to the next level!

Where are we at?

Phase 1: July 2020 (Done!) Knocking down walls, waste removal, fireproofing and redoing the floor

Phase 2: August 2020 (Almost done!) Bathroom and changing rooms, new lights and we start painting!

Phase 3: September 2020/ Emergency tunnel and exit. Finishing the bathroom and changing rooms.

Phase 4: 21st - 25th September. Equipping the space with rigging, crash mats, dance floor etc.

29th of September we open doors!

Phase 5: October - December 2020. Installation of a ventilation system, new windows for the winter, redoing the stairs and the terrace and building the office.
