Summertime is a fantasy comedy about a hard weekend where two attractive girls are locked in a big house with swimming pool… and probably with ghosts.
The film is produced and directed by Norberto Ramos del Val, creator of films as diverse as MUERTOS COMUNES, Hienas or El último fin de semana. In the script, Pablo Vazquez and Ricardo Lopez Toledo, both writers and juvenile delinquents on the website LaPazMundial.com and somewhere even less respectable. In the direction of photography, the great Roland de Middel, the master of high definition in low cost movies. The band The Blurry Men will be responsible of music.
Ah… the film is starring exclusively by young beauties Alba Messa and Ana Rujas. The first one is famous for having starred some tv series in Galicia, her homeland, and for having acting in the film El ultimo fin de semana. Ana Rujas has been acting in successful tv shows as Punta Escarlata, Ángel o Demonio, Con el Culo al Aire, 90-60-90…
The film will be shot through thick and thin (so if you don’t support us…) in summer. The film will be distributed independently on DVD, the website Filmin and in some festivals at the end of the year. Then we will be young and hip again, as we have always liked. Our friends at web sites and on the media will say that everyone have to watch it to be the coolest person ever, and we will be happy and satisfied.
Seriously, we don’t have any money so we have no choice but shooting without money and using the wonderful ways that the great twenty-first century digital revolution has brought us. I need to keep making movies, and I can’t wait for the eternal time of big productions. Since I shot the web series Hienas (that is was a movie eventually), I know for sure that nobody is going to stop me.
We don’t want to tell so many details of the film because we believe that is gonna be something really different, and it’s being created with passion and excitement.
The amount we ask for is almost symbolic, but we believe it is what we need to work perfectly and make the best film we could. It would be so beautiful…
