About the project

We need your help! Here at Recovery Magazine we are ambitious and like to set ourselves challenges, and we also want to reach a wider audience and continue to grow as a magazine. Therefore, we present to you, our new project. We want to publish a unique paper edition of Recovery Magazine. You can help us make this magazine a reality by purchasing one (or several) of the different packs that we have prepared.

As well as getting the printed magazine, most of these packs include prints of photographs made by our photographers throughout the year, with a variety of artists and options to choose from, as well as stickers and a special mention of your name in the magazine itself .

About us

Recovery Magazine is an independent online music website, created by and for music lovers of a variety of genres, where we talk out and publish news, galleries, and chronicles of concerts and festivals, interviews, reviews and much more. We work independently and voluntarily, without receiving and financial support or beneficial gains.

The magazine is coordinated by James Lomax, editor of Recovery Magazine, and a great team of editors and photographers who make it possible. The following people participate: Cristina Cañedo, Lucía Monsalve, Sara Blanch, Jessica Ferrerons, Helaina Harvey, Antonello Valdini, Jon Baldwin, Carles Santamaría, Sara Cartas, Sofia, Stefany Mejía, Pablo Bajo, Marina Delgado, Vicky Parga, María Martín, Íñigo Egaña and Anna Grau, with the design and layout of the magazine by possible thanks to Camila Rivero.

About the packs

Due to the fact that photojournalism plays such a huge role here at Recovery Magazine, we wanted the magazine to be accompanied by photo prints of photos taken by our photographers during the main festivals and concerts in Spain throughout this year. Below you can see all the photo options to choose from, with a wide variety of artists.

The magazine will include the highlights of the year in terms of music, reviews of this year’s festivals that we have covered (Mad Cool, FIB, BBK, Resurrection), photographs, our top ten albums of 2019, unseen interviews with bands such as SWMRS and The Hunna, as well as the most awaited things for 2020, tours, new releases, rumours, concerts, new bands to discover… as well as several full-page size posters. The magazine will also have a whole page dedicated to thanking everyone who participates, including your name, since without you, this project would not be able to come to life.

The magazine will be printed on 90g paper, consisting of 17x24cm in size and 60 pages long. The photos will be printed on top quality FujiFilm Satin photo paper.

What will your contributions go towards?

The donations made during this crowdfunding will be destined exclusively to cover the cost of the production of the magazine; design and layout, texts, printing and shipping costs.

If there is any profit made it will go to the webpage and the photographers, who as mentioned before work completely voluntarily for this magazine.

Estimated calendar

Our goal is for the donors to receive their package before the end of the year. We will also hold a presentation in Madrid in December where people who have pledged can pick up their magazine and prints in person.

Photo options for prints

Those of you who choose an option that includes photo prints can select any of the following photos which will be printed and sent to you (or can be picked up in person at the presentation in Madrid in December).

You can specify which numbers you want and in which size (for example: photo 1 in A4, photo 3 in postal size, photos 2,4 and 7 in A5).
