I'd like to introduce ESD. That's the name of my new project and my new album. This band is a jazz-rock quartet made up of two guitars ( Virxilio Da Silva and Wilfried Wilde), keyboards (myself, Xan Campos) and drums ( Iago Fernández). In several songs we have the collaboration of Yoel Molina (guitar).
About the album
The album was recorded in Copenhagen in june 2015 and, despite it took a bit longer than expected, it's ready to be released soon by the label Free Code Jazz Records.
As some of you might know, this is a self-production label, so I will take care of all expenses myself.
Until now, I calculate I spent close to 2000€ in the recording of this album. The CD's are already being made and soon I will have to pay also for this process. All this is affordable and I know for my experience that I'll be recovering the investiment bit by bit.
The problem will be to make the vinyl. Many of you tell me you'd like to buy the album in vinyl, and it'd make me very excited to be able to make it in this format. But the price shoots up a lot and unfortunately I can not deal with that in this moment.
That's why I'm going to need your collaboration, both to help me to pay the costs and to let me know if the vinyls are really going to be demanded.
Your contributions
The money collected will be used entirely to pay the production of the vinyl. The costs will be around 2000€, but the minimum amount I set for the process to be viable is 1500€
About the rewards
The rewards do not include delivery costs. If you are in Galicia you can show up at one of our concerts or we can find the way to make the delivery personally. If you're out of the country I will contact you to ask for the delivery expenses when the moment comes.
Estimated delivery costs:
CD: Spain 3'50€; Europe 5€; World 6€.
CD + T-shirt: Spain 4'50€; Europe 9€; World 12'50.
Vinyl and other packs: Spain 7€; Europe 15'50€; World 24€.
In case of concerts, travel costs are also not included.
Calendar
The manufacturing will take around two months, so I expect everything to be ready in the beginning of october, maybe sooner.
