Danka Nikolic

Isla Cristina

Danka was born in Belgrade. She studied at the University of Mozaretum in Salzburg and the Hochschule für Musik in Hamburg. Winner of numerous national and international competitions and a regular guest at international festivals as a soloist, as well as a chamber musician. Member of Camerata Salzburg, performs regularly with orchestras such as Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Balthasar-Neumann Ensemble (baroque viola) and Kammerorchester Basel (solo viola). Founding member of the Trio Schallmoos and in love with Isla Cristina and it’s surroundings, Danka founds in 2017 the International Chamber Music Festival, organized by the association MundoArte,of which she is the president.
