Bollywood - the most popular film industry in the world!! Dance, music and pure fantasy! As a choreographer I have had many years of fun enjoying the rhythms of the various music forms all fused together to create something very unique.
In Bollywood - anything goes!
I'm so excited about this new project, Ive put together a great team, and I cant wait to put it all together!
After teaching around Europe and Central America over the last 10 years Ive seen how Bollywood has become such an important part of so many peoples lives. I see how at the end of shows I perform in, everybody wants to get up and dance. Not everyone is a natural dancer...but I believe everyone can enjoy the music, the rhythm and the craziness of Bollywood!
Its Ch3mistri is a play on the word chemistry and Mistri. Introducing 3 styles of dance and music to fuse together like a chemical reaction to create an explosion of energy.
I will present a new professionally filmed instructional dance fitness DVD using the base dance form inspired by the most fun film industry from India, Bollywood
The DVD will consist of a warm up and cool down and three 20 minute routines in 3 different styles.
Bollywood Latino (sensual and spicy!)
Bollywood Bhangra/folk (high intensity)
Bollywood Dance (lets keep it funky!)
Each will be upbeat fun dance routine to get everyone moving. Aimed at all age ranges and for both men and women, it will be a fun way to workout in your own home, enjoy and get those dance juices flowing!
The soundtrack will be original currently being produced in India by the amazing composer, singer and producer Anubhav Suman who I was introduced to earlier this year on a visit there.
The music will come as a CD along with the DVD as a boxed set
DVD in English and subtitles in Spanish.
What do we need the money for
The project will cost approx 7000€ taking into account production, music, design and distribution. The process has already started and this money will help in the production process.
About the rewards
The retail price of the DVD/CD will be 25€ plus shipping.

Estimated calendar
The filming will take place appox october/november of 2014 in Spain with Same Same Films for the final product to be ready by February 2015.
