The project is about producing a 15 to 20 minute film. For the teaser above, we hardly had enough money to paint the nails, have I said nails??! I meant hooves!

Therefore we hope you like our project and can make Locho’s dream become reality. Here is his story:

Locho is a cow-man tired of his life, who does not like his job and feels different. He has always had a dream and feels that the day has come to fulfill it. Do you want to know what that dream is?

Locho is a humorous story for all ages. The ambition of this short movie is in its universality, anyone can identify with the character embodied by Carlos Chamorro, for his very values which are a search for freedom and the right to be different.

Actor

Locho will be played by Carlos Chamorro. Sounds familiar? Well yes, yes! That one! Julian from Camera Café ... Yeah well, also Jacobo Torres from Viajes Iberia ... You’ve seen him on Saturday Night Live, Caiga Quién Caiga, Los Irrepetibles...

Comedian, clown, painter ... You have seen him on Spanish TV but also in some theater plays. Now you are you going to get to see a more cinematographic side of him.

Carlos Chamorro is Locho, the cow-man who will share with you his crazy adventures and play the most hilarious role ever proposed to him. Is he ready for the challenge?

Undoubtedly, Carlos will make you have an unforgettable time on board his tractor, fun and laughters guaranteed !

Budget

The money will go entirely to the development of the character: prosthesis, costume, makeup. Also travel expenses, accommodation and catering need to be covered. Each day of filming costs us 600 Euros ! And many are the miles that separate Locho from achieving his dream … which you still don’t know...

Director of photography

Alejandro H Madrid was mad about movies before his birth, during his first ultrasound scanning, he managed to engineer a lighting system for doctors to know that an artist was on his way.

He considers cinema as an art, far from the commercial clichés. For him it is all about the light from the beginning to the end. He is a an expert in film aesthetics especially in Asian and French cinema. Alejandro has a Master of Photography from the ESCAC. He is currently attending the master of Audiovisual Research at Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain.

Production

Pablo González: His DNA has a chromosome without identifying, in some studies has come to think, that it is his passion for the adventure at imposible shooting, the main reason for his genetic desviation. First known case in which modifies the behavior genetics. Crazy!!

In his premature concern he had to go to the United Kingdom to be prepare. From Bournemouth to London and them to his actual base in Barcelona, where he began to work in the advertising field since 2002 and here is still following a very strong involvement in project which it participates.

While the science evolves, It has not yet reached a firm cause of genetic pathologies of this subject conclusión, but its sensitivity towards people in the shootings plus his high level of perfectionism, make Pablo a producer that raises the quality of the productions in which it participates to the always amazing levels.

Eli Sort is a warrior and has travelled the 5 continents with her camera. Her thirst for living can only be filled with ... Action! Several times awarded and specialized in documentary formats, she will put her talent and skills at the service of a fiction movie this time.

Nuria Merseguer She is the youngest of the team but has fire in her blood. Hardworking and eager to show all the talent she has in herself, there is no doubt that her contribution to the project will impact the movie greatly.

Film maker

Two heads are behind this project, one which is much bigger than the other: that of the illustrator Vazquez Ivan Ortega and the other one, some kind of an out-of-size brain recipient, so oversized a head that he cannot go out at night without newspaper headlines the next day titling Unexpected lunar eclipse… that head belongs to the editor Dani García Benavides.

Iván Vázquez: He is an illustrator with so many years of experience in the world of drawing that he cannot remember the day when he switched from reading Mickey Mouse cartoons to actually drawing them himself. He has spent so many nights with imaginary characters such as Barbie, Pluto, Donald... that his only goal in life now is to be congratulated for making the best sushi from this side of the Greenwich meridian. Not that he is cocky but the fact is that he has drawn pretty much everything … and now he has embarked on the creation of the Cow-Man, Locho.

Dani Garcia Benavides, : He is passionate about editing and has dedicated the last 10 years doing just that. Dani has worked on 4 of the 5 continents. He just doesn’t know that the 5th one exists. Now he is passing from the editing room to the shooting set. He confesses he is a big fan of all the people mentioned above. And he promises not to go out at night so you can continue to enjoy the moon … only if you give great donations though.

Expected calendar

We will shoot the movie over 3 weekends in October, in Empordà, in the region of Girona, Catalunya in the North of Spain. Throughout November we will devote our time to the editing and the postproduction of the images and at the same time, to producing the entire soundtrack, as the music will also be original. We estimate therefore that we can have our little present ready for Christmas.
