"Junto al Mar" is Damarage Photo & Multimedia's first short film, a small company founded by Mar Otero & David Soto that tries to gain a foothold in nowadays' paronama.
For this first raid into films, we count with script prized both in the prestigious Festival Internacional de Guiones de Cortometraje de la Laguna (La Laguna International Short Film Script Contest) and the Media Claqueta's National Contest in 2013.
SYNOPSIS
The sea is everlasting: like life, like time. By his youth's summer's sea, a man who has everything finds he really has nothing. Why does that prostitute remind him of his lost happiness?
FILM'S LOOK
We wish soft dreamy lights to evoke the main character's emotional load, and we would like you to feel his journey back in time, and make you think of your youth, and everything you did and everything didn't do.

ABOUT THE SCRIPT WRITER
Manuel Darriba, script and writer, has received the critic's and reviewers support with his latest novel "El bosque es grande y profundo" ('The forest is great and deep', publishing house 'Caballo de Troya').
"Junto al mar" is, as a result, a solid history we wanted to tell in images, gathering up all its energy and depth.
This project has been conceived professionally from the startup, aspiring to go all over the national and international short films festivals.
SCHEDULE
The project is in the production steps at the moment. We'll film the film's first part at the end of May and the rest on June's second week.The postproduction will be carried out during July.
REWARD DELIVERY
During August's final days we'll begin delivering the rewards, and starting in September you'll be able to see this short film make its way over many Short Film's Festivals.
