We want to cross Europe for 6000 kilometers in a trip of 4 months, crossing nine countries, which will allow us to know on first-hand how is cycling experienced in our neighbouring countries.

During these four months of cycling journey, three components of Impulsion Humana will travel carrying themselves all the equipment, installing their encampments, preparing the necessary foods and managing their waste, without any supporting vehicle; with just a team in the base that will be devoted to manage the incidences or requeriments that may arise.

Nine countries: Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, and finally Spain. In all of them, a quite different cycling reality is experienced, as compared with ours. There are policies favouring biking, with sufficient infrastructures and civic consciousness that allow people to circulate with total safety in the most important cities.

All along the journey, we’ll contact with all the bike associations of the most important cities in order to interchange our experiences relative to the bike world.

We want to experience and live the bike in our european scene, and to get ideas which can serve to create new services helping promote this fantastic gadget.

In adittion, we´ll film everything we consider relevant, compiling information about all the travel’s details, without stopping telling you how is all happening, and, above all, telling you where we are at every moment. We want to publish, upon our return, a documentary containing all this experience, which our first sponsors from Malevolo will help us publish. ([www.malevolo.com])

WHAT WE WILL USE THE MONEY TO

On one hand, we have calculated, based on the experiences of other bike voyagers, who have gone over large distances, an average of 20 €/day for overnighting and maintenance. Altough we may carry a tent, in many countries, included Spain, free camping is forbidden, whereby we´ll have to pay for camping or take a shower in some lodging or refuge.

Moreover, we have to travel with our bicycles to the starting point, that is to say, North Cape, for which we have planned to fly to Oslo, the capital of Norway, and then, to go over the 2000 kilometer distance between this city and the starting point in a hire van. After having considered the possible options, this is the most inexpesive.

In such a long trip, everything could happen, so it is necessary to contract an accident insurance, which also may cover potential losses or thefts.

Finally, a part of the money will be spent in commissions and taxes, and also in the acquisition of the gifts that we offer you in every contribution.

TIMETABLE FOR THE TRIP

Since we will start from an elevated latitude, in the polar arctic circle, the weather imposes us a deadline for the departure: beyond the 15th of July we could encounter a weather too cold (we must remember that our objective is to promote the bicycle, we leave extreme challenges for more audacious voyagers). Since the trip to North Cape is long, we must depart to Norway the 12th of that month at the latest. If setbacks don´t arise, we would arrive to Tarifa about 4 months later.

The rewards will become effective after the end of the trip.

#01 / Entrenamiento
