Twelve years after publishing my first collections "Tot l’enyor d’ahir" and "Quatre mil petites evasions" and a few months later to regain the rights to edit my poems, I was thrilled to be able to compile my complete poetry production in a single volume. The book is entitled "Bitllet senzill” (“One way ticket") and includes around a hundred poems and calligrams I wrote between 1991 and 2001.
The idea was conceived about a year ago but for legal reasons I wasn’t able to start the project until now. During those weeks I have been rescuing and collecting manuscripts and documents in Montcada and I have been ordering in Brussels, where I live.
In the book it is possible to find almost all the poetic, literary and experimental work between 1991 and 2001. In this collection, however, one will be able to find the first works of creative writing.
Personally it is my first publication project through crowdfunding and I am very excited to publish this book, not only to see all my poems in a single volume but also because there are my first poems and they have an enormous sentimental value. The task of rereading, planning and working out design of "Bitllet senzill” (“One way ticket") has brought me a lot of memories of many people who have influenced me and whom I have loved during those teenage years, a period that marks any person for the rest of his life.
Regarding the help of designing the book, I count upon my old friend JuanMa Pérez, Studio Guatman CEO, we have been friends since we were 14 years. JuanMa helps me in designing the publication, the reconfiguration of calligrams and he will give his personal seal of quality to this work.
The idea of cover illustration design recreates the cover of "Quatre mil petites evasions".
INVESTMENT
The aim of this project is to obtain the money for publishing the book. The money will cover the cost of printing: book design (paper and digital), the ISBN and legal deposit management, barcode printing and packaging of items needed. The design of the book and correction of calligraphy is the responsibility of my friend JuanMa Pérez, Guatman. In addition, the project also covers the funds derived from the platform of crowdfunding.
The budget has been adjusted to the limit in order to have the volume of "Bitllet senzill” (“One way ticket") on paper.
If you want to support this project through Paypal or other payment systems, I give the possibility to do it for those who wish to pay via this way or by others not contemplated by this platform. Please contact me by e-mail: [email protected]

THE AUTHOR
My name is Josep Solano and I was born in Barcelona ten years before the accession of Spain to the European Community, just a few hours after a Barça vs. Athletic match. Asensi and Neeskens scored that evening.
I have been engaged in media since I was 17 when I started to work in the public local broadcaster in my hometown. Right then and there I had my very first contact with Internet media. Internet connexion was very slow, although nowadays it has not improved a lot.
I started Philosophy and Philology degrees but only finished Audiovisual Communication in Barcelona in the late nineties. I have personally outlived the changes in press and communication, I have seen the beginning of new social media and I am used to use them.
So, in the end I worked in some media like TV3 Catalan public television, Diari d’Andorra, Andorra TV and others before being appointed six years ago chief editor in the European online journal Eurotribune, seated in Brussels.
I have certain experience in writing and working in communication business after more than half of my life doing it. I mainly speak and write in Catalan, Spanish, French and English but I can also speak and write fairly well Italian, Portuguese, Occitan and I have some basic notions of Dutch.
I received several prizes and awards, I published a number of books and I wrote a few screenplays for films, one of them having taking part in an international film festival.
However, my creative work doesn’t mean everything to me. I am more concerned about doing a good job day by day as well as having a good time and learning at work.
