SYNOPSIS

Setting in the XIV Century, Eideann is the story of how a courageous shepherd from the Highland of Scotland and one of the sheep of his flock become the pioneers of one of the most popular entertainments of our days.

THE PROYECT

After "Juego de Niños", winner of the "Maratón de Video Digital 2007" in the section of Animation, Eideann is the second animated shortfilm by Alvaro Granados with a duration of more than 5 minutes. It is the result of eighteen months of hard work and effort. An ambitious and a great technical and artistic challenging project than finally it's finished.

IF THE PRODUCTION OF THE SHORTFILM IS OVER... ¿WHY DO YOU NEED MONEY NOW?

Once the production of the shortfilm is over, the next goal of Eideann is to send it to as many festivals as we can in order to get known and try its luck wherever it go.

This process is expensive and that is why we've started this crowdfunding for getting enough money to pay out the distribution of Eideann throughout at least one year.

SO... CAN I MAKE MY PARTICULAR CONTRIBUTION TO HELP EIDEANN TRAVELING FOR ALL THE FESTIVALS AROUND THE WORLD?

That is! With each one of your personal contributions (whichever it is) the goal will be closer!

Moreover, you have to know that all this money will be used solely and exclusively for this purpose. If we finally reach the total amount of 3500 euros Eideann will be touring for festival for at least one year.

AND.. WHAT IF YOU GET MORE THAN 3500 EUROS?

Wow! That'd be awesome! The collection'd remain entirely for distribution. More money we get, more festivales Eideann will be sended!

I DON'T GET ON WITH PAYING BY INTERNET... IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO CONTRIBUTE WITH YOU?

Of course there is. If you'd rather not paying by internet, or you want to donate a different amount of money or if you only want to contribute with no particular reward, just write us to [email protected] and we will reply you immediately.

ONLY THE TRAILER IS AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE OF EIDEANN, CAN I TAKE A LOOK TO THE ENTIRE SHORTFILM?

The only reason the entire shortfilm is not still available to watch is because it's going to tour for festivals for the next year (if we get the crowdfunding goal!). At least during this year unfornately the shortfilm wont be online.

However, there are couple of ways to watch all the shortfilm!. One of them is by the rewards of the crowdfunding (either by private download or receiving the DVD at home). The other one is attending to the premiere that we are mannaging for the next May in Madrid (and later in Murcia). You are all invited!!

WHEN DO YOU GIVE THE REWARD?

We will send the rewards no later than two months after the end of the crowdfunding campaing. If you attend to the premiere we will hand you your reward in person. Otherwise we will send it to you.
