48H Open House BCN, coming?

The festival 48H OPEN HOUSE BARCELONA is the main architectural event of the city of Barcelona. A great opportunity to enjoy various architectural experiences and different styles linked to the historical chronology of the city. The fourth edition of this festival will be held during the weekend from Saturday October 19th to Sunday October 20th , and will be organized by Open House Barcelona.

This is an open project to promote architecture as a critical part of our culture, which began in 2010 with the goal of encouraging everybody to discover and see Barcelona’s architectural beauty.

It is an initiative, which involves the participation of 39 different social, technical and artistic entities, to explain the architecture of the city.

Festival visitors have the opportunity to speak with the architects who designed the building or regular users of it. This enables visitors to interact, ask questions and have a critical opinion of what they are visiting.

PREFERENCE PASSPORT, CATALOGUE AND GUIDED TOUR

In this Crowdfunding campaign we offer you the opportunity to be part of this cultural adventure, in which architecture plays an important. Supporting the consolidation of the festival will make possible this experience.

In addition, you can also get some benefits beforehand, if you are planning to attend the fourth edition of this festival. These advantages are very useful for visitors who want to be part of the project and as well visit as many buildings as possible.

_ Preference Passport (1 day or Weekend Pass): If your donation is 35 euros or more, you will receive a Preference Passport 1 day Day Passport, valid for 1 whole day of the Open House event. This special pass gives you free access to all the buildings opened during the day of your choice. Preference Passport is very useful, especially when entering the most popular buildings on our itinerary.

You can choose the day: Saturday 19th October or Sunday 20th October.
 

For those of you who wish to enjoy two entire days of the festival, we have prepared a Preference Passport 2 days Weekend Passport, which gives you the privilege of a free access to all the buildings on our itinerary, during two days of the Open House Festival. Available from 50 euros. Weekend Passport is the most convinient way to enjoy the most of the 150 buildings.

_ The Catalogue: If you don't wish to participate in the forementioned donations, we give you the oportunity to organize your itinerary at the festival via Open House Barcelona Catalogue 2013. The catalogue gives you detailed information about each and every building of the Open House Barcelona, along with maps and itineraries. You can purchase it during the festival at the official stands.
 

_ Guided Tour and Coctail Party: Something special for architecture lovers. This exclusive offer gives you the opportunity to enjoy architecture at its best. One building, opened especially for you. You will be accompanied by an architect, an expert in the style which the building represents. You will have a unique chance to interact, ask and really get to know the building and its story. After the visit we'd like to invite you to a coctail party with the event organizers.

This offer will take place one month after the actual festival. The price is 130 euros.

** HOW WE SPEND THE BUDGET **
Your donations will be destined to improve the festival in different fields:

• Viewing and recognition of the role of volunteers,

• Improved signage of the buildings,

• Customer service

• In equipment.

Rewards and pass to the festival will be given one to two weeks before the festival, by mail, in person or collection points.
