FAMILY ❤️🎶 For years I've been on this musical journey almost alone, with few resources but with enormous faith in reggae as a tool for awareness, unity, and freedom.
Today I want to share with you a real and achievable dream. I want to travel to Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae, to record new songs with top-tier artists and musicians, people who have built the sound that inspires us every day. It's not just about recording music, but about connecting with roots, energy, and truth, and bringing all of that back in the form of songs that represent us all. To make this possible, I need to raise €3,000, which will cover the trip and basic recording costs. This isn't a sum for luxuries: it's a direct investment in music, culture, and the future.
WHAT ARE THE COLLABORATIONS ABOUT? I CAN'T REVEAL THE ARTISTS' NAMES YET. But as you saw on my Instagram during my last trip to Jamaica, a collaboration was recorded with Andrew Tosh, son of the legendary Peter Tosh. On this trip, I'll be filming the music video for that song. The song I recorded is a cover of the famous "Don't Look Back," written by Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones) and Peter Tosh—a retake where Andrew sings his father's part and I, Loremba, sing Jagger's.
I'll also be recording a song in the studio with another big name in the new roots scene, along with its corresponding music video. This song will be a universal theme, "Pray to Jah," which presents a confrontation between weapons, wars, and the inner refuge for safety and happiness in everyday life.
WHEN WILL THIS HAPPEN? All of this will take place between May 7th and 31st May These two tracks will be part of Loremba's next album, which I hope will be released in March 2027.
👉 Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to Jamaica.
👉 Every contribution makes you part of the project. 👉 This isn't done by a record label; it's done by us, the family. If one of my songs has ever accompanied you, given you strength, made you think, or simply made you feel good… this is my way of giving back that energy and multiplying it. I promise transparency, sharing the process, and above all, authentic music born from the heart and roots. Thank you for believing, thank you for supporting, thank you for walking with me. Together we can take Loremba's name and our message to Jamaica. With respect and love, Loremba 🇯🇲💛💚❤️
