Financing of the first album by the band MANENA, Parsimoniosa

We are MANENA and we launched this campaign to make our first album, Parsimoniosa, a reality.
If you help us, we will be able to take care of the costs of production, editing and mastering, which is so laborious today.

What does all this consist of? What is this crowdfounding or patronage?

Let us tell you very briefly. According to the RAE, a patron is a powerful person who protects and financially supports an artist.
Patronage: Protection or aid provided to a cultural, artistic or scientific activity.

How did it come about and what is the project like?

Manena Duel, as a singer-songwriter, after publishing her first EP 'Emergente' in 2021, begins a personal journey of self-knowledge.

As a driving force, music occupies a very important place in his life. After going through a slow, painful and beautiful process of healing and acceptance of herself, she decides to record this album.

Aware that the songs speak for themselves and that they need an appropriate atmosphere, he begins a search for his own sound. In this way, find the musicians who today form this band and this project and who, like Manena Duel, carry their house on their backs, loaded with emotion and sensitivity.

This album is a declaration of intentions: creativity, pause and community.

The style of the album

It is a Mediterranean Pop-folk style with touches of blues, where the lyrics and emotions of the songs find their place between world percussions, bass, guitars, keyboards and piano.

Where did the recording process take place?

It was produced between the months of May and September, in the Red Carpet Productions studio (Lloret de Vistalegre, Mallorca).

The process was beautiful and intense, where we let our emotions be an important part of all the recordings.

The instruments were recorded separately, by tracks.

• Passimonious Brunch: this is undoubtedly one of the rewards that will bring you closest to our essence as a band and it is, literally, because you will share a breakfast with us, rehearsal and reflection on music and life, which we like to do so much.

• Personalized poem: Have they never written you a poem? Now you have the chance to make it happen...

• Private concert: to help us with patronage, what better than a private concert, where you can enjoy the album live. A unique and very special experience.

• Organic Cotton T-shirt: With the design of our beloved White Gorilla Design, we have these beautiful t-shirts that couldn't be more stylish. In 3 different colors and high quality.

• Parsimonious Tote bags: We already know that you have 4 at home, but these have incredible quality and cool colors. We love them!

Both the t-shirts and totes are printed by local company Dissenys f4. To choose the color of the t-shirts and tote-bags, We will send you a form where you will have to tell us the size and color.

What will we use your contributions for?

Basically your contributions will go towards financing the recording of the album (recording, production and mastering).

An album requires many technical resources (the studio, microphones, recording hours) and also personal resources (unpaid rehearsal hours, instrumental arrangements, song production). Furthermore, once all the instruments have been recorded, there remains a mixing and mastering process, which also involves many hours of dedication and work.

With your contributions, all parties involved in the process can be paid fairly.

Planned schedule

When the patronage campaign ends, you will receive your rewards within 6-8 weeks.

Patrons who contribute with private concerts will agree on a date for 2026 by mutual agreement.

Delivery of material rewards/Shipping costs

The band resides in Mallorca, therefore, the collection of rewards from people who live in Mallorca will be carried out in different towns and in Palma physically (points to be specified). That is, there will be no shipping costs.

For shipping to the rest of the Balearic Islands and the Iberian Peninsula it will have an additional cost of €6 (although we will do our best so that, even though we live on an island, we can get the reward to you in some way without it going by parcel and you can save those euros).
