Clarinetjazz, a new album of Miguel Ruiz Santos

With this crowdfunding I want to finance my first solo album: Clarinetjazz

An album where different types of clarinets and jazz are protagonists.

If you haven't heard any songs yet, check it out! They are all original songs inspired by different styles ranging from La Mancha or Irish folklore (yes, so eclectic!) to the most classic jazz and blues. Furthermore, I have surrounded myself with a band of great musicians who have blown up all my expectations. Seriously, I think the result has been amazing.

The intention of this patronage is to cover part of the expenses that a self-production entails:paying for the recording studio, mixing and mastering, rehearsals, musicians, graphic design..., since so far it has been very beneficial in artistic and musical terms, but quite the opposite in economic terms... So can you lend me a hand?

In addition, part of the benefits will go to ASION, Children's Oncology Association.

About me

For those who don't know me, I'm Miguel, musician and creator of this project that I would love to see happen with your help. I have studied music for as long as I can remember in different places and with different influences, and I think that's where the eclectic character of the album comes from. I don't like to categorize my music in a specific style, but there is a lot of improvisation in it, so they usually call it jazz, but you'll have to listen to it for yourself.

Planned schedule

I hope to have the budget raised by September (hopefully more than the goal will be achieved!) and the album ready to deliver in November, so you can have your Christmas gifts ahead of time ;)
