Objective
The objective of this project is to create the fourth and final story (hardcover) of this collection. A story full of fantasy and adventures that will hook the reader, while instilling values, and inviting reflection.
Synopsis
Cora returns from a long journey and finds all the fairies and nymphs of the forest turned into eggplants. This is the work of the evil wizard Tujo, an old sexist and misogynist. Cora will have to embark on a journey in search of the help of Diana, the white fairy, the most powerful in the kingdom of Fantassia. On her way, she will meet various characters who will help her in her mission. Will Cora have the courage to face Tujo alone? Will she be able to bring her friends back to life?
About the story
In this fourth story of the collection from "La estantería de Cris", there will be no shortage of fantasy, games, values, and fun. Like the previous stories, The Fairy and the Wizard; Cora's Adventure, will immerse us in a story with great reader participation, who can solve mazes, answer questions, and do fun and educational activities.
This story deals with gender equality, self-esteem, and emotional intelligence. It is a book that can serve as a resource for kindergarten and primary classrooms, always adapting to students of different ages whether used as a storytelling book, reading book, for dramatization, or to work on values and/or emotions.
It also includes activities that can be used to work on reading comprehension, language, English, and values. Therefore, it can be used across different subjects.
It is** also** a story meant to be enjoyed at home. As we all know, moms and dads, there is nothing better at bed time than reading a story to a child. It is recommended for children aged 5 and up and may be interesting even for children aged 10-12.

Who we are?
La estantería de Cris is a project of Cristina Rodríguez Martínez. It started in 2019 and was born from the creation of these stories as professional storytellings by the actress herself (Cristina Roma). As a teacher, she noticed the need to bring those stories to classrooms in different ways. It also responds to her need to convey values to her own children (Leo and Nico) through stories, which she has loved since she was a child. Likewise, the love for the language she has been teaching for years (English) had to be part of this project. The love for reading, games, languages, and theater are the roots of this collection.
Cristina Roma was graduated in Dramatic Art in 2009 and she was graduated in Bilingual Primary Education in 2020. Currently she works (mainly as a teacher) and lives in Murcia, where she is also active doing storytelling, improvisations with ImproMurcia and Improgress, and as a member of the Actors' Union of Murcia (UARM).
Clara Falcón is a Venezuelan who graduated in dentistry in 1997. She took drawing and painting classes for 8 years. She was an illustrator for the magazine "Parrafitos" in 2004, from the "Fundación del niño" in Venezuela. In 2016, she decided to formally train in the area of digital illustrations, leaving dentistry aside. She worked for two advertising agencies established in her country, "3 en 1 Group" and "3 en 1 Group Latam", for 2 years. In 2018, she was hired to illustrate two children's stories called "Firulina, the hardworking little bee" and "Celina, the sentry bee". In 2019, she created her personal brand called "Klarita Ilustraciones" and was contacted in 2021 to illustrate the story "Sara's poppies". Finally, in 2023, she founded her "Drawing and painting workshop" for children aged 6 to 13, where she offers different courses and modules, in addition to holiday plans; thus fulfilling a great dream.
María Gutiérrez is a woman from La Mancha settled in Murcia, and after that, in Madrid. During her psychology studies, she takes a course in Advertising Graphics that opens the door to the world of design.
In 2017, she works as a Multimedia Communication Consultant at the newspaper LA VERDAD in Murcia, where she develops and plans communication campaigns in print and digital media for various companies in the region.
In 2018, she makes the leap into the editorial field at EL RINCÓN DEL POLICIA and OPOESQUEMAS. In both companies, she works as a graphic designer creating educational resources, infographics, and illustrations. And as an editorial designer laying out study manuals.
In 2020, she continues her professional career at the SOYCOMOTU FOUNDATION. In this organization, she carries out project coordination and designs corporate and educational materials, combining her knowledge of psychology and design.
Subsequently, in 2021, she transitions into the e-Learning world working as a department coordinator at the educational center UNIVERSAE, creating educational resources.
Currently, she alternates her vocation in psychology with her passion for design. And she tries to learn new things whenever she can, such as her recent discovery: coding with Processing.
What will we allocate your contributions to?
The contributions will be used to cover the costs of the book, rewards, and shipping.
Schedule expected
We plan to use the summer months for the production of the book and send it to print in September, to have it ready to be sent in October. This way, even in case of any delays, the stories would still be ready in time to be given as Christmas gifts, if that's what the patron intends.
