The short film lasts 25 minutes and is our first profesional proyect as film producers, besides our previous experience individually and as a team in Radwood Films in reference to other proyects.

COUNTDOWN is a psychological action thriller, showing the anxiety experienced on a life or death situation and the responsability having that situation in your hand.

The project contains a number of VFX, diversity of sets, and the best thing, an intense plot that will hold you till the end.

But to be honest with you, actually we are on the postproduction stage, in other words, we finished the shoting, but you have to know that we still have some things to do.

So far, all of this is done with our own low budget, that is, without any help, like our first proyect, wich you can see on this link: Videoclip - Nota de Suicidio

Countdown will be distributed in festivals, contests, DVD's, digitally and online.

Pablo just finished university and walks home, and in that moment recieves a misterious call from his girlfriend.

The've been separated and arguing for some days, knowing she hides something but he doens't dare to ask fearing the answer.

So both agree to meet in a park outside the city, a quiet place to talk, but Lucía looks worried and wants to tell him a huge secret.

Before she can say anything she's attacked, Pablo's live is about to change for ever , he has little time and looks like Lucia isn't who he thought she was....

Pablo starts a frantic race to discover the truth and save the life of the person he loves.

Will he be succesfull?

Radwood Films, is a young and independent production team from Madrid, Spain.

We are a young group, from 19 to 26 years old working since 2010 and our intention is to create interesting and original proyects and looking foward **to create unforgettable experiences on our viewers.

Our proyects are professional and with huge quality(knowing we haven't got any budget), but with great ideas, fancy scrypts and a good and responsable team.

We strongly bet in the colective effort, creativity and ambition that we are known for.

The company is dedicated to profesional media work. Working mostly on the production of videoclips, short films, and in the future, feature films.

Our future objective is having the proper experience, and grow up as humanly and profesionally to be abble to make films and you can be part of it.

We are always looking to improve and recylcle in each proyect, with hard work and with our best hope, by any means necessary, because our finish goal goes further than doing entertaining films and we are not going to stop till we achieve it.

As I was telling you, our work hasn't been economically reward, neither anyone on the team, technician or actors, and in any stage of filming or postproduction.

We have all done this proyect because we love it.

This proyect is possible thanks to a young group of people -more than 35- who loves cinema and have been working on their own free time for months because they believe in the possibility of creating a powerfull proyect.

But there's still work to do and here is where you come to take part of this amazing proyect called Countdown.

This short film is a zero budget proyect, but that doesn't means it has no quality and that is why we think it has to end like it should.

We have to finish the edition with the highest quality possible, record the sountrack and, here comes the dificult part, distributing the film to festivals and competitions, national and internationally, and of course reaching to all of you wherever the city or town you live. We want from Radwood Films that Countdown reaches every part of the world.

ROBERTO BUENO JURTISTO.

Character: Pablo, Lucia's boyfriend.

Roberto Bueno Juristo is a Spanish film and tv actor and a film maker born in 1986. From all of his work we emphasised a TV series pilot “Crack” for TVE, a Discovery Channel report, a theatrical play “Cuento de navidad de Charles Dickens”, short films “Gracias, Porvenir” and “Destiny”, and the Videoclip “Nota de Suicidio”. However since 2001 he's been writting scryps and directing. From 21 years old, studies and graduates on a Filming Master degree.

ALBA PÉREZ SERANTES

Character: Lucía, Pablo's girlfriend.

Alba Pérez is a Spanish film, tv and theatre actress born in 1987. From all of his work we emphasised the TV series “Eva y Kolegas” emited in Antena 3 Neox andthe theatrical play “Yo Estaba en Casa y Esperaba Que Viniera La Lluvia”. Also has participated in some short films.Furthermore, this year gets the opportunity to work in the big screen with “2 FRANCOS, 40 PESETAS” from Carlos Iglesias.

IRENE GALÁN

Character: Samanta, for laboratories Labprove Company Worker.

Irene Galán is a Spanish film, tv and theatre actress. From all of his work we emphasised “El sueño de una noche de verano”. She gathers more than 100 plays touring Italy with “Don Gil de las clazas verdes” and “Don juan Tenorio”. With “En la cola del baño” and “Teenager” lived the experience of acting in Micoteatro por Dinero. Has been the leading actress for some short films, like “La nieta de Albert S.”, a Gesamt proyect. Actually participates on a series of short films based on the “Comic Gestalt”.
