SUSANA PEÑA - First studio album: ESPIRAL
My name is Susana Peña and I´m a singer-songwriter.
I´m Venezuelan and I´ve been living in Madrid since 2003, where I came to study flamenco.
While I was working in Japan in 2013, I borrowed a guitar and I started learning chords, making up words, melodies adding rhythms. Without any expectations I discovered what I love doing the most: composing, singing and playing.
Since 2015 I´ve been performing on my own and with other musicians from whom I have learned lots and who have given my songs different nuances and interpretations. However, I haven´t had the opportunity to embellish them and record them in an album.
The time has come for me to take a leap of faith in this artistic journey and make it happen so they can get to you and travel to every corner of the world where they want to be heard.
The name of the album is ¨Espiral¨. A collection of old and new songs. Every song tells a story in its own musical style and they talk about things that move me, personal experiences, doubts, certainties.
Songs that will probably resonate with many of you in some ways :)
** Why collaborate?**
The creation of a studio album involves a team of many people: producer, session musicians, technicians, designers. As well as various expenses: Studio time, mixing, mastering, printing, marketing and distribution among others.
It´s a complex and expensive endeavour.
As an independent artist, this whole process would have to be carried out on my own making it financially and humanly impossible. That is why I decided to do a Crowdfunding where everybody´s contribution, however big or small, adds up and makes artistic projects like mine come to fruition.

In exchange for your support and financial generosity I have designed a pack of rewards for you to choose from.
The main reward is the music of ¨ Espiral¨ in its digital and physical format as well as your name in the thank you credits of the album booklet.
There are different packs according to your budget that include:
Custom song for you or your company, tickets for my album presentation concert, unreleased songs, flamenco masterclass, song tutorial, private concerts, exclusive photos and videos of the recording process, cover of your choice, cover postcard.

Where will your contributions go?

The money raised in this campaign will go towards the entire production of the album from rehearsal studio time until its mastering and manufacturing.

Planned schedule
**
The recording of the album, mixing and mastering will take place at the end of January 2024-beginning of February 2024. The album will be ready in March 2024 and it will be yours to download immediately after. The CDs and other physical rewards will be sent by post once the manufacturing is ready. Hopefully not later than April 2024.
The live and streaming launch show with the whole band will take place at the end of March-April 2024.
