Vencedor de Demanda comes from the desire to make my first CD, combining traditional music of capoeira and the afro-brazilian universe with modern language and elements.
The CD directed by the singer and percussionist Jabu Morales will feature 13 songs and some special guests. In addition of my own compositions, the CD will feature two compositions of Mestre Suassuna and reinterpretations of traditional songs like Riachão do Diabo and Puxada de Rede do Xaréu.
I also have partnerships with Master Pantera and Jabu Morales and participation of Mestre Suassuna, Mestre Acordeon. Mestra Suely and Paulinho Lemos.
The disc is in the process of recording and is scheduled to finish in november. We count with the participation of the "mecenas" to the CD be available from the month of december.
The budget raised through the Verkami will help to finish paying expenses of studio, graphic design and print the CD.
The New Project of Mestre Boca Rica has great potential to promote the tradicinal music of capoeira, and the capoeira itself.

Is delivery, international or otherwise, included in the pledge levels? If not, do you have an idea as to roughly how much it would be?
Primeiramente, eu gostaria de agradecer a cada um que já contribuiu e está acreditando e dando suporte ao nosso projeto.
Já estamos na metade do caminho e conseguimos um pouco mais de 2/3 do nosso objetivo. E agora precisamos de um empurrão, já que na maioria dos projetos de financiação coletiva, o final é difícil. Estamos a 17 dias e ainda faltam 700 euros, ou o equivalente 70 contribuições mínimas de 10 euros.
Acredito que se cada um de nós que está envolvido, convencer a mais dois amigos, conseguiremos "vencer essa demanda"!!!
Peço para que cada um escreva um e-mail explicando como funciona o sistema do verkami e também dando algum detalhe do projeto do CD. Está tudo aqui na página do projeto. Conto com a ajuda de voces!!!
Aproveito para dizer que adiantamos muito o processo de gravações e agora só estão faltando duas músicas e alguns ajustes finais nas que já estão gravadas.
Primeiramente gostaría de agradecer a todos pela confiança em nosso trabalho e por acreditar no projeto "Vencedor de Demanda".
A capoeira no transcorrer do tempo, sofreu e continua sofrendo um contínuo processo de mutação. Um dos elementos que nos remete ao passado e faz o laço com sua anscestralidade é a sua musicalidade.
No trabalho, que durou exatamente um ano (novembro 2011/novembro 2012), consegui algumas parcerias que foram fundamentais para a qualidade do trabalho e para o peso histórico que aporta o CD.
O trabalho começou quando convidei Mestre Acordeon para o I Festival Besouro Preto, aqui em Barcelona em novembro de 2011, quando gravamos a primeira música "Minha Angola".
Quería dar um aporte musical. Gravar bem a capoeira, coisa que está em falta hoje em dia.
