Desde La Aldea queremos agradecer a todos los mecenas su participación! Vosotros estáis haciendo posible que este proyecto se haga realidad! PRESENTATION

El Cazador Negro (The Black Hunter) is the working title for our final university degree project. It’s the first La Aldea Producciones’ professional project (an independent non-profit-group created by four Pompeu Fabra University students – in Barcelona), a 25-minutes-length documentary that combines the genre portrait and the exercise of suspense. The project will be shot by the last week of May, and we ask you for financial support through Verkami, so we can accomplish our goal. The project is entirely produced by the team members, for the moment...so any help will be welcomed.

SYNOPSIS

A small crew of documentary filmmakers set for a journey to unravel the legends of the north of Catalonia. They end up in a isolated village, located between two mountains called Baiasca. While searching for the origin of "the black hunter" legend, the filmmakers notice that something seems to disturb the daily life of the villagers. Perhaps a mystery hidden in the footage obtained.

LOCATIONS

The shooting will take place at three different locations: the towns of Durro, Baiasca and Dorve, and their surrounding areas.

THE BUDGET

The money we get will be used to pay travel costs (which includes petrol and tolls), catering (for the cast and crew during the shooting), and equipment rental (a full HD-Nightshot Camcorder, lighting equipment ...).
