After past season’s success with In the Heights, this year we’re facing a new challenge: Tanz der Vampire ( Dance of the Vampires ). In this production we’re anticipating almost 200 costumes, more than 50 wigs, customized make-ups and characterizations for each performer and an endless count of technical measures to elaborate the stage design, illumination and sound with a quality to measure up with our audience.
We are a musical theatre semi-professional company with an 8 year-career. Our previous work include titles like Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, Mamma Mia!, Spamalot and In the Heights.
Our resources come in its entirety from donations given by the audience at the end of each performance, and reinvested fully for the next season.
¿WHAT DO WE NEED?
Unfortunately, with last season we didn’t raise enough for our next adventure to have the right measure. Therefore, with this crowdfunding project and other raising measures, we need approximately 9.000 € more to achieve the desired staging.
The funds we get through this platform will be fully allocated to purchase the materials and elaborate the costumes and scenery, so we can achieve the best quality result.
To thank you for putting your trust in our project, we’ve thought about a series of prizes that will get you excited, and destined for you to be part of this big project. The shirts, pins and all printed articles are our company’s original and exclusive design.
The prizes will be delivered from the premiere date onwards, which will be from September’s end until October 31st.
At the moment, we develop and perform our projects in Montpellier School's stage, in Barrio de la Concepción (Madrid).
Our productions are developed between January and September.
The own company members are the elaborators, constructors and tailors of all and each of the elements appearing on scene. Considering this fact, the production timetable will be the following:
- Rehearsals take place through all the school year at weekends.
- The scenery is build at June, July and August.
- The costume-making process is developed through January and June.
- Characterization (hair and make-up) is developed since January, though September’s when the majority of the work is done.
