The Mutant Registration Directive has been recently approved. It forces any person with special abilities granted by alterations in their genes to register, as they are considered to be a threat to society.
The Mutant Control Agency (a division of Homeland Security) is the governemnt agency in charge of making sure that the mutants register, revealing their secret identities and their abilities.
The Agency is also in charge to relentlessly pursue those that resist registration.
It is an organization with powerful means and little oversight, which has been denounced on numerous occasions for infringing the fundamental Human Rights of mutants. But deep down, of course ... mutants are not "human".
In Mutant X-Perience the players will assume the role of a group of mutants that, forced by the information that the Agency has about them and their loved ones, are forced to surrender themselves. And from that moment, everything goes from bad to worse ...
In this first X-Perience created by Action Room Escape we propose you to participate in a room escape of the latest generation.
What makes our escape room different?
For starters... You have Mutant Superpowers! Each player has unique abilities that are necessary to help the team solve the proposed situations and be successful on the X-Perience.
In addition to managing such a valuable resource in a room escape as is the time, players must also manage their health and energy so as not to end up unconscious or unable to activate their powers. And remember: the security systems of the Agency are lethal!
Funding the Mutant Control Agency
If you sign up to crowdfund our project you should know that our room escape is almost ready. The preparation of our premises ... I mean, the construction work on the Mutant Control Agency base is finished and we are applying painting hands to the walls and adjusting the flow condensers on the laser cannons.
The funds we get from Verkami will be to make the X-Perience even more amazing.
Specifically, we will use this funding to make the X-Perience available to teams of up to six members instead of five.
Also, if you help us fund this improvement through VERKAMI, you will enjoy an additional perk: you can reserve day and time to come BEFORE reservations are open to the general public on our website. This will make much easier for you to get a good weekend schedule if you want.
Choosing your brib... I mean... gifts!
Although we have put some specific illustrative images as a reward for each type of contribution, we will give you the opportunity to choose the shirt(s) and mug(s) that you like most among our different models.
When will the Mutant Control Agency open its doors?
The estimated date for the office of the Mutant Control Agency to open its doors so the teams of mutants can surrender themselves (as stated by Law, of course) is April 2019.
The Agency will contact those who have registered on this crowdfunding as Beta Mutants to invite them to visit our offices a few weeks before that date.
