What is “Broken Dreams”?
Broken Dreams is a music project based in Havana, Cuba. It tries to exploit and explore Cuban, Brazilian, African rhythms mixing them with other popular styles.
It attempts to collaborate with underground musicians creating new sounds and interactions.
It includes records of Jazz, Blues, Funk, Cuban Contemporary and much more!
What do we need the money for
Your contribution will be used to handle studio, band expenses and all costs throughout the recording process and until we have a final product that follows the guidelines previously presented.
When will it be ready?
No more than three months after the end of the campaign we will send rewards to all contributors.
About Jr
My name is Jr ... I'm a guitar player and composer based in Havana, Cuba. My daily struggle is making my music, I live in a beautiful but under-develop country where finding resources or people willing to sponsor and support any artistic or musical project is complicated ... Thus, why I decided to join this platform ..
Despite all issues, I have been able to win the 3rd place at the JoJazz Festival in Havana, I have been a member of multiple Cuban bands including: Síntesis, Francis del Río, Diego Gutierrez, Thaira, Ultrasonic (producer of Gente de Zona) .. I play Jazz, Blues, Timba, Trova, Rock and other genres .. Hope you can support my project!!
