Are you our patron?

If you’re aware of the current situation of our world, you were raised playing games, have communicated with others no matter the difference in language or cultural barriers, or you have sat in front of a warm plate on the table and a conflict on the TV News…

And if, like us, you still believe cinema goes beyond the screen, help us change this reality that represents “Let’s play”

Synopsis

“Let’s play” tells the story of Karim, a syrian refugee kid, that arrives to Barcelona after running away from the current conflict of his native country.

It is at this point, that he meets Biel, a catalan kid who will leave his prejudices aside to establish a friendship with Karim, in spite of the cultural differences between them both and the barrier that the language represents.

The games between these kids will be their own way of communication. And from it, they’ll discover the social reality of each one and that, what it’s just a game for Biel, truly consists in the daily life of Karim back in Syria and his traumatic memories from the war.

Where will we destinate your contributions?

If we are making it, let’s make it right.

With the objective of faithfully representing the reality, the budget will be destined to recreate the situation of our protagonists through the sets and props.

We’ll register our actors in the Social Security, also we know the importance of catering and displacement as minimums to take care of our crew.

Finally, given our exigence, we’ll hire all the necessary photography and lights equipment, as well as an images transmissor, too, for our specially designed Dron.

About the rewards

We’ll take care of the shipping and its costs to recompensate your help.

In the case that you assist the official premiere, we’ll get in touch with you all to chat and give you your rewards before watching the results on screen.

We are totally open for any requests or questions you might have!

Crew

“Let’s play” brings together a dinamic and young crew, with the desire and the enthusiasm to explain this social reality that we all are part of.

As a filmmaker, I’ve come across many scripts whose purpose was to entertain but I discarded that option and goal on my professional career, and instead, I focused on changing the world and society with each shot and dialogue.

All the shootings that I’ve worked in helped me find the key pieces for the crew of Let’s play, for that reason we count on professionals from all over the country and we include rols such as the DIT, VFX Supervisor, Drons Operator.

Calendar

The preproduction will be developed during the month of June and the beggining of July.

“Let’s play” will be shot on the 27th, 28th and 29th of August.

The postproduction will take place on September 2017, and the distribution and festivals entry will keep us occupied through October and November.

Finally, around christmas, our patrons will receive their rewards or, otherwise, they’ll be invited to the premier where we’ll give it to them face to face.
