"ARTSevilla – International Art Meeting and Exhibit" is an annual art event that takes place mostly in Seville's historical city centre, which seeks to be accessible and familiar to all types of public.
The entrance to the exhibition spaces and most of the activities is free.
Disseminated in different spaces, it incorporates much of what composes the artistic panorama of the city. ARTSevilla, in accordance with its overall philosophy of art and society, proposes a forum where exploring, through different disciplines, the potential of art as a development engine of the social change.
Three main blocks make up the event structure: the exhibition (which includes different sections for artistic creation), formative (A wide range of Cultural Sessions) and editorial (with the publication of the catalog and the magazine of each edition).
As every year, we bounched some calls for artists such us Performance, Videoart, Installation (among others) to promote the inclusion of emerging and consolidated artists. This campaign seeks to reward the most outstanding artists in each section. If the amount is good enough, we will provide a prize to every single section.
Could this event be possible without artists? No. That is why we need you!
Raised money raised will go to grants and prizes for participating artists. It is essential that artists obtain an economic recognition for their work and participation, so that they can continue developing their activity and we can make this event possible.
In case of remaining money, it will be used for other expenses derived from the calls, printing, materials and secondary prizes.
