THE CONFLICT
Why do we feel humans? What makes us feel pasion, will, empathy, or justice? How do we know if we are free? This are basic questions in a place like Dadaab. Just a hundred km from a country that once was their home, the Somalian refugees live resignedly how their foster land for 25 years turns against them.
Due to the attacks perpepetuated by the terrorist group Al-Shabab in Garissa and directly related to the Somalian community wich survives in the fields, a forced eviction attempt from the Kenyan goverment is expected to be uncertain and agressive as 86% of the refugees do not support the iniciative. While the international community looks away, and knowing that going back to Somalia is not an option, the refugees try to live with dignity.
Without a stable forest place nor an acceptable logistic plan, the future of thousands of desperate young men goes by through violence, turning the fields into the perfect recruitment place for Al-Shabab group. Then, the false accusations from the Kenian government would come true: their would be refuggees that would take up arms, while many others would seek for refuge in other countries. The crisis in Sudan, a war in South Sudan and the militarization of the Ethiopian border make Europe the most preferred destination.
While the conlficts in the middle East and the arrival of refuggees to the European coasts were the main focus for the western press, aid in the fields is decreasing. Taking profit of Siria's situation and the economic agreements for the resettlement of the refuggees between the E.U and Turkey, the Kenian Government sees in Dadaab an inevitable business to hyde the real problems of their country. The evidence is obvious. The refugees are turned into dangerous cargo, wastes that must be buried in a foreign country so they don't contamine their lands.
This documentary project wants to look into this aspect in an interactive way, layering a problem that if it were to explode could reframe the logistic foundations of Old Europe. "Dadaab: Not coming back" is transparency, leaking to public opinion what's happening and, in a way or another, can affect all of us. Are we prepared for what's coming towards us? For the time being, we show it.
THE PROJECT
"Dadaab: Not coming back" must to be a project for and made by everybody. That's why our idea is to boost helping, mainly, online. We understand communication as a right and freedom of speech as a responsability, reason why everybody is welcome to be part of it. Your help is as important as our job.
This documentary has two clear basic ideas. On the one hand, we want to present ourselves as young enterpreneurs and as citizens of a lay informing world, in wich a free and selfless press is still possible. On the other hand, we want to create a quality product, fresh and unbiased.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND
The group working on "Dadaab: Not coming back" is a dinamic and young one. To us one of the main pilars on our project is cooperation. We are trying to prove that selfless helping and virtue allows us to cooperate both socially and culturally, as we are all part of the same cultural entity.
THE HELP
As we earlier remarked in our project foundations, our work is defined to be a non profit one. We want to help at the same time as we make our partrons participants. The revenues will only be used for the expenses of the documentary's production: Filming licences, journey expenses, production material and others related. Bills, obviously, will have complete transparency for our patrons or anyone interested.
If we collect the fundings needed to accomplish our task, patrons will be able to know the situation of our post-production progress at any time. We will be informing trough our main page, on Facebook. Production is planned to be done in five to ten days. Our patron's rewards will be delivered once the documentary has been shown in all locations planned. It's our intention to have it prepared by July - August of the year comming (2017).
Let's see if we can all make it happen! Thank you!
