WHAT IF I WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME PERSON?

It is our new challenge, a great piece which needs more work in relation to our previous creations, this is a qualitative production leap.

Since 2010, we have been working very hard on this new performing proposal, trying to gather our past, present and future in a polyhedral level. Our language will assemble numerous elements already treated in previous works developing the essential questions in order to find out some results, that we feel, should be our next stop. The premiere will be at 2012.

WHY YOU?

Due to current economic crisis, the performing arts are much more vulnerable. For this reason, we believe necessary a NEW WAY TO CREATE AND TO PRODUCE; and this is where YOU appear. This new way with PATRONS AND CROWDFUNDIG, opens the door to an interesting communication during this process. Your help will be a key factor and we will be able to do this project thanks to you. Also, some of the REWARDS which you will receive AS PATRON will be part of the creation process and this is so exciting for us. We hope that our project is interesting for you.

THE PLAY

Gold. Petroleum. Frost. What if I would never be the same person? It is a beautiful story of science fiction.

It develops the old and new concept of human evolution. It reflects about who we were, who we are and who we will be. It sets out the old and new requirements on people's ethics and its immediate consequences. It shows that we live in a temporal world and perhaps, we are a result from evolution. The idea that we are here as a preamble to another life fades and launches a universal question:

Would mankind end in communion satisfactory with nature or, on the contrary, will nature end up devouring hopelessly mankind?

But Gold. Petroleum. Frost. What if I would never be the same person? is more than just a play. Due to its size, it is designed as a plant whose roots give rise exploring so many different formats.

y.s.y.n.v.a.s.l.m.p - 0.9.3 [Prologue]: It is a mysterious and virtual prologue (on internet: emails, facebook, youtube...) where it develops the preliminary ideas of the global project. We use it to experiment with audience, and audience may be disoriented, lost, and shows interest on something which is still unknown. Gold. Petroleum. Frost. What if I would never be the same person? [The play]: Itis the axis of the global project. It also gives rise to two virtual and free appendages.

1. The G.P.F. Museum in www.vertebro.es: It is a place where it develops the peripheral topics of the play. There is also a field where the audience can interact, from anywhere around the world, before or after seeing the play.

2. Cd´s G.P.F: The audience will have access, on our website, to download the music used during the play as well as other sound material created for the project.

The echo of our evolution [Multiform epilogue]: It is an alternative play to show different project materials in a wider way where audience has the opportunity to give back their impressions and we collect these transforming them into new artistic material. We say "The Multiform". We will make use of different disciplines and artistic formats to continue developing the topics covered in the previous parts of the project.Definitively, this new project is an odyssey, which will lead to a way full of mysteries, an exciting way currently in process.

WE ARE GOING TO SPEND MONEY...

Money will be spent on making all the necessary equipment for our play: set design, costumes, props, music, videos, graphic printing…We also work in collaboration with top professionals, which allow us to make progress in other areas.

THE PREMIERE WILL BE AT 2012

July or September 2012.

NOTE ABOUT THE REWARDS:

Photo diary of the process of creation (pdf): We will email you it, when the creation process is completed, and the play has been released.

2 Photos of the play with fragment of text written to hand by the members of Vértebro (all in its case of plastic and personalized for each patron): We will send it to you, by post, when the creation process is completed, and the play has been released.

Ticket for the play: It can be used by you, the patron, or any other person under your permission and confirmation. The patron will contact the company to inform of the on which day will go to see the play. It can be used on the tour informing beforehand. (The patron will see the dates of the tour on the web and Facebook)

Collaboration as performer in a video which is projected on the play: You have to be quiet because it will be fun and the collaborator can be, the patron himself or any other person under your permission and confirmation. The collaboration will be in a video of two possible. Video 1: If you live in Córdoba City. (The company and the patrons agree the day recording via e-mail or phone) Video 2: If you live in a city far away from Córdoba. (Patrons have to record themselves with instructions from the company. The transaction for the recording and collection of material will be held by email, phone and post).

Logo of your company, business or NGO: The transaction will be by mail and phone.

Performance at your home (or similar place) for you, your family and friends followed by a talk with the company after the performance (Spanish field): The company and the patrons agree the date for the performance by e-mail or phone. (The play will be"The echo of our evolution [Multiformepilogue]")

DVD play: We will send it to you, by post, when the play has been released and edited.
