About AppleSmellColour
AppleSmellColour is a Progressive Rock band founded in Tarragona in 2012. The band is composed of Lluís Barceló (guitar), Àngel Arroyo 'Loti' (bass), Marc Claramunt (drums), Pep Espasa (guitar, saxophone and flute), Mo Espasa (keyboard) and Uri Mas (vocals and guitar). After three years of composing, we have recorded our first album: Unscrupulousness. The name of the band is inspired by a poem written by Gabriel Ferrater.

About Unscrupulousness
The album is a piece of conceptual work which addresses the lack of scruples in its broadest sense: the origins and the development of the universe, the evolution of life on Earth, the massive exploitation of natural resources, current social conflicts and the class struggle in pursuit of a new social paradigm, the emotions and contradictions arising from falling in love and love relationships, the contemplation and the relentless passage of time and finally, the inevitable death which leads us to a universe not governed by scruples or human morality.

What are we going to spend the money on?
The album has already been recorded and mixed, but we need your help to launch it under the best possible conditions. The money raised through verkami will be used to master and edit the album in physical format. Part of the money is set to go to special rewards in exchange for your precious contribution!
About special rewards
The main goal of this verkami project is to make possible for the album Unscrupulousness to be released as a small and humble piece of artwork. That's why we are putting so much effort into the design and conceptualization of the album. If you want to, you can also be a part of the album. To do so, we have prepared a set of special rewards that can be yours by becoming a patron.
Besides the physical album and a t-shirt that will be sent to you by mail (Carriage paid within Spain) or handed over to you at the concert, a special edition of the album can also be yours. It includes an unreleased acoustic track and it will be delivered in a special hand-made packaging (limited to 100 units). But we want to take it one step further: that's why we are going to create a graphic novel with text and illustrations based on our music.
We also offer the opportunity both for institutions and individuals to pick your favorite song (probably it's one of our favorites too!) from a progressive rock list to be played at the release concert. Or you can get a song specifically composed for your special one!
Finally, with great pleasure we will give an acoustic or electric concert (sound expenses included) for the most generous patrons.

Our schedule
The album is ready and the design in progress - this means once the verkami project is over, it's time for getting down to work and prepare the packaging and rewards. It will take us about two or three months to get everything ready. We will start shipping the rewards by the end of the year!

Moltíssimes gràcies de nou!!! Hem superat els 2.800€ i ja podem muntar un concert acústic exclusiu per a tots els nostres mecenes! I com que encara queden uns dies per a finalitzar el verkami, ens hem marcat una tercera fita: aconseguir 3.300€ per poder invertir aquests diners extra en gravar en vídeo el concert de presentació de "Unscrupulousness"! Serà dissabte 19 de desembre a la Capsa de Música de Tarragona i estem preparant moltes coses per fer-ho únic (projeccions, jocs d'il·luminació, locucions...). És per això que volem que tots els que no pogueu venir gaudiu de l'experiència des de casa a través de l'enregistrament del concert. Si ja ens heu ajudat econòmicament, encara podeu ajudar-nos compartint el nostre projecte. I si encara no heu col·laborat i voleu fer-ho, no badeu que això s'està acabant!
