After 6 years of great adventures with music, putting all my soul in it and a Cd that has given many satisfactions already in all the cities of the world where it has been released (NYC, Berlin, Madrid, Paris, Udine, Càdiz, ecc…): Think con la tua cabeza recorded in NYC in 2013, produced by Michael League
it's time now to make another step; record in a new EP the work I've been working in the last months, which is the result of my new musical vision.
It'll happen in Madrid, I'll put my music in the hands of Campi Campòn, musician, sound engineer, producer, who already won 3 Grammy Awards in LA, 2 of them as best producer o Jorge Drexler.
Who knows me and who knows him, can imagine what can spring from the union of my music together with his sound researching. Who doesn't know us already, will maybe receive a unexpected surprise! This is the continuation of my work, a new adventure in music and in life. I'm sure it 'll resonate with you!
YOU, who have followed me in these years, are the ones who make possible my engagement in my profession, and this is my feeling: I want, I desire to offer you this new music!
The impact
Recording "Think con la tua cabeza" in New York has been a very hard work, gave me a lot of satosfactions, and most of all made me see how many of you are actually interested in my work. I showed the developing of the project with constant posts and video and photos, keeping people posted during and after the project. At the end I was very happy about the Cd reviews ("All about jazz", "Cuadernos de Jazz" , "Esquire" e molte altre). (Vedi sito Laura Furci )
This can be a difficult task. We may not reach the goal. I am going to trust...you, myself, the Universe. I am going to have Faith that this will happen and that you'll be here for me with the same enthusiasm you participated to the "Think con la tua cabeza" project. Let's reach that point where music shows us our souls, and let's share it!
But for that....we need to get out of the Comfort zone: I am already half way there: you coming?
Don't wait too long
What I need and what you obtain
I need funding to:
-record and produce my new EP
-cover all the studio recording expenses
-pay the producer,
-pay the engineers,
-pay the piano tuner,
-pay the videomaker
-pay the photographer
-travel to Madrid and be able to live and stay there for the week we need to do the studio work
-pay the mixing and mastering of the tunes,
-produce the physical copies of the EP, with the photos and the lyrics. I'd like to give you the full gift, not just the mp3 download!

Between them, a refined Grappa especially made and dedicated to me and to this project by the oldest wineyard in Friuli Venezia Giulia, the north eastern italian region where I come from!
This Very special bottle is a refined spirit, a Grappa made in Friuli dedicated to a friulan artist which the wineyard Villanova (oldest wineyard in Friuli: 1499) decided to dedicate in a limited edition to support this project!
This artisan production, called "Uve nostre" from the selection "Val di rose", is a fine distilled obtained from grapes that characterize Friulan territory: Cabernet Franc, Moscato Giallo e Verduzzo. I can't wait to taste it listening to the EP!
In this marvellous wineyard will also take place the EP release party, later on this coming summer, with my concert and the wine and grappa tasting for all of you who participated to this crowdfunding!

Planned schedule:
No rush and no rest
-Starting now: Verkami Campaign and music composing and lyrics writing
-End of September: travelling to Madrid, working with the producer in studio recording plus video shooting and photo shooting of the process and the results
-October: travelling back home and organizing the production of the phisical copies of the EP, together with the other gifts you ordered
-End of October or November: Final Party in the Villanova Wineyard for all of the participants to this project, EP release
-November-December: gifts delivery!

Risks and bets
This new project, being funded by a Crowdfunding, comes with the risk of not being realized for lack of response.
I have faith in you and in the enthusiasm you always show me, I believe that you'll be by my side this time again, as you did with "Think con la tua cabeza"!
Let's think at "The positive side of things" ;), let's project ourselves in the future we desire taking each other by the hand till there, in the place where music shows us what we have in our souls!
It IS possible, it implies for me to be in it 100%, with all the physical and non physical energy to accomplish this! A new trial for me, that would be impossible without you!
But you often say to me that my Habitat is "Out of my comfort zone": why? Because that is where I overcome fears and realize that there's much more inside us than what we imagine! That is where I continue to learn to be a better person, together with you. That is where magic happens: would you like to come with me out of the comfort zone and follow and support this adventure?
