La Sopa Boba

La Sopa Boba is a transmedia project produced by seven students of the fourth grade on the ERAM University (Audiovisual Realization and Multimedia School) in Girona. The history immerses our viewers into the universe of the main character. Dani is an adolescent who is in his early 20’s and has recently left university. He needs to think about his future and this brings him in a lot of family problems.

CONTENTS

Short Film:

The audiovisual part is the central focus of the project. We are going to film a 15 minute movie where we want to show the tensions that Dani have with his family.

Web:

Realization of a Virtual Tour that allows the users to move inside Dani’s house. The viewer can interact with the objects around to explore the website content.

Videoblog:

Dani has a video blog where he can talk about all his frustrations. By this platform the wiever could understand better the attitude of the main character.

APP:

We are going to develop a game following the history of the short movie.

Social Media:

We are planning to launch a intense social media campaign to make the story arrive to the máximum number of people.

All about these platforms together will help our audience to understand everything about the main character. And that’s why we not only focus on the short movie, because the users can discover more trought La Sopa Boba’s universe.

SYNOPSIS
“La Sopa Boba” is a short film that tells the story of a spoiled young men of 20 years old and he is still living in his parents' house. Dani just left university for the second time and he isn’t working or studying. His mother is really worried about him and she prepares his CV so he can look for a job. The next day, the father comes home after work and find his son in the pool and all his CVs thrown around the garden.

WHERE WILL WE INVEST ALL OF YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS?

We are really thankful for your support and contributions. These will be used to cover all our shooting expenses:
• External Hard Drives
• Rent of all the external material from the university
• Expenses for all the team members for the recording days.
• Attendance of all team members and stakeholders
• Necessary accessories for the short film
• Transport all team members
• Accommodation for team and actors

We don’t exclude other methods of financing such as product placement and merchandising of the project.

The amount we ask is going to cover all the expenses from theshooting, this equals at the first part of the project. Nevertheless we believe that to create the second part of the development of the project, that includes all the multimedia sector, is necessary a bigger amount of money (5.000€).

SCHEDULE

The preproduction is going to take place from September until December. During the last weeks of December the shooting of La Sopa Boba will be finished. After the filming is done we are going to make the postproduccion. The project will be completed in February.

The rewards will be given when the project is being presented and the premiere done.
