Promised Land is a documentary in the form of "Road Movie", is a journey in search of an ideal society that can meet the needs of freedom and individual expression.
This topic is hidden behind a fake documentary that aims to find a rare cactus that makes a flower after one hundred years. The cactus is hidden in Bolivia.

Synopsis
The theme of the journey to a utopian promised land: the libertarian Uruguay President Jose Mujica, media personality, used thousands of times by global TV's, is he a ghost character, a fake?, in a broader sense: the last hope or an extremely rare example of its kind?
There is hope of achieving a equal and united social order without a traumatic change as a anarchist revolution (Mella) or a return to savagery (Spencer)?
About Us
Sociologist, Antonio he has 35 years, he survives working with movie magazines (film.it) music (Losing Today, Sonic) and writes related to society for online newspapers and journals.
Promised land is his second film after other experiences in reports for television and short films.
The documentary Permanent together, won the festival Atlantic Doc, won the Best Direction at the festival La Guarimba and now is competing in several smaller festivals such as Mashup Rome, Ficsam, Espiello Ethnographic Festival, Video International Biennial of Contemporary Film and VideoFest, Latin American film festival center, ANCI, A-TAR - International Exhibition of Film schools and media audiovisual.
Antonio is now obsessed with political issues, although never participated in a demonstration and knows little about politics.
But here is the rub, we are moving away from politics?
Why I know so little about politic?
Einari is a Finnish screen player and director.
In the documentary helps Antonio to write the scenario and accompanies him in Uruguay, Argentina and Bolivia.
But in reality he just want to reach a rare cactus.
Together Antonio and Einari form the "TIKKA FILMS".
Disappointment compared to different conceptions of order, the pursuit of happiness and solidarity balance seems unattainable, as the cactus.
The trip will be on one hand the attempt to reach a truth that does not exist and on the other the analysis of the limits of democratic systems in the perception of people.
A cactus in the desert, which by its aridity represents both the decline of the human condition and the barrier into the unknown is unlike a new starting point for the characters and ideals of treaties.
Timetable
If we get the funding, within 30 days we can have it finished.
We lack a part of post-production.
Money would be used for:
A Professional color setting (we have used three different cameras).
A Graphic Design of the project (titles..).
A Professional sound mix and a studio rental to record the Voice-Off.
We have several assumptions that are between 4500 and 5500 euro.
As the project is completed we will:
Begin to produce promotional material (posters, postcards, dvd, cd, etc. ..),
Organize a launch event with press conference at the Verdi Cinema Barcelona
and a party at the local OBE also in Barcelona with all the people who have collaborated.
The schedule:
December 1 project completion.
January 1 sending promotional material.
January 15 presentation posted on the Verdi Cinema Barcelona + final event.
State Project
Shootings ended in May.
This summer, closed with 40 degrees in our studio in Gracia,
we have made two "Rought Cuts ":
One of 2 hours
Another of 1h 45min
we will reduce it to have a final product around 70 and 80 minutes.
Promised Land is intended to be a Entertaining documentary.
Not Informational, but rather Experimental.
We are optimistic with the result:
we managed to shoot an adventurous trip with light view topic and no boring demagogic parties,
the content and policy ideas stand the scenes without turning the story into a series of sterile discussions.
We have now a product in our hands, but that requires a professional review with devices that are not within our reach.
Promised Land has been funded so far by ourselves, with the help of "Squalo Media" and the money raised from the previous documentary awards.
We now need some help for the the second part of the post-production.
