"4 Años"- Ángela Quiralte

Hi, everyone!

My name is Angela Quiralte. If you’re here, it means that you’re interested in the lovely project I’m working on at the moment. It’s called "4 Años" ("4 Years") and it’ll be my first album, made up of 10 original compositions.

Who am I?

I’m a singer and flautist from Córdoba who has been living in Barcelona for some years. I’ve always been a curious person who loves new experiences. I have a strong passion for music, nature, life and the people I meet along the way, and I believe this is reflected in my art.

After studying classical flute for ten years in the Músico Ziryab Conservatory, Córdoba, I came to Barcelona in 2020 to complete a degree in jazz vocals through the Conservatori Liceu, which included a year of study in the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (The Netherlands). In these years, I’ve grown and developed both musically and personally in cities which have taken me in and been the stage for so many new experiences.

Currently, I teach contemporary vocals in the department of Modern Music and Jazz of the Conservatori Liceu, and I’m involved in numerous musical projects with friends and colleagues. I’m truly fortunate to be a part of such a community full of talented musicians and beautiful people.

The Album: 4 Años

This album was conceived as a way to capture a period of my life which has been full of learning: my years studying away from home. It’s been 4 Años in which I’ve grown as much as a person as I have as an artist; four years of self-discovery which I’ll always remember with love and gratitude.

My life has always been surrounded by music since I was very young, and my songs blend the styles which I’ve learnt or have influenced me in some way or another. From the flamenco of my childhood to the Latin American folkloric tunes that have always inspired me, and the classical music and jazz which I’ve studied for so many years. My music is fusion.

My Team

All this would be impossible if it weren’t for the great team and the amazing people that constitute it, helping my project take shape:

• The band: Amanda Travería (piano and backing vocals), Santiago Moore (guitar and backing vocals), Arnau Prats (double bass), Karles Pérez (drums), Orlando Castillo (percussion), Ignasi Nebot (violin), Natalia Delgado (backing vocals) and Elena Grueso (backing vocals).

• The creative team: Paula Rivera (photography and video editing) and Carlos Quiralte (cover art).

• Special guest appearances: my lovely students from the Colegio Escolápies Llúria choir (Lídia, Inés, Paula, Lara, Irene y Sol).

• My family and friends: my greatest fans who always encourage me to be the best I can through your love and affection.

• Patrons: all of you! Those of you who have collaborated with the project already, or who intend to through Verkami or any way you can.

What are your contributions used for?

The goal of this campaign is to help me cover the costs involved in releasing an album: production (recording, mixing and mastering), design and layout, promotion and future distribution. I know, so many steps… But it’ll be easy to achieve with all your help!

Timeline

The expected date for the release of the album as well as the delivery of rewards will be in October 2025. At the moment, we’re in the middle of recording; I’ll keep you all updated on the process on my social media and my Verkami channel.
