The Side B of the World Cup 2014

What would you do if your people get out you from home to get a better public image for an universal business such as the World Cup 2014? The Side B of the World Cup '14 is a documentary film and TV that tells the story of four characters who live immersed in this context as inconceivable as real.

The side B of World Cup 2014 it will be a report where are the brazilians themselves who are showing the double reality behind the packaging of World Cup '14; they pay attention to their own experience that check that the things are not doing well in Brazil. They put the human ethics in front the religion as is football for them.

The nature of the report involves making a journey through the South West of Brazil; specifically for Porto Alegre, Curitiba, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro i. In each of these cities have a character who will guide us and show us his perspective and that of their immediate around.

Moreover, these films will be added images people on the streets to be improvised (live) but bounded by planned areas, planned events (demonstrations around the football offices, etc ...) + the interviews with relevant persons (experts in various fields that relate to the essence of the film), and the issues to be addressed are the type: land distribution, education, social exclusion, evictions, ...

Until the moment, there have been children, demonstrators and journalists killed, destroyed indigenous peoples of the Amazon and pitched battles daily. Are we going to tolerate it and not report it?

ABOUT US

We are a small team of 4 people, Maria Jou Carmen Molina, Guillem Risques and AH, which we have titled academically in 2011 with a Higher Degree (FP) Image and Sound; made our respective practices, and eventually we worked in the professional world in stories, both photo and video, for example for TV3.

Two of us are pursuing a film career (currently in 3rd year) and are used to being in shootings; addition, this course assemble a photographic exhibition paid for two months.

The remaining two members are also experienced in temporary jobs as videobooks model, post cast in TV documentary, ...

WHAT WE'LL DO WITH YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS

A production infrastructure documentary itself to film, interview, locate, move, guide services, ... in Brazil.

TIMETABLE

The production schedule will be from 28 June until 15 July.

We estimate the project have mounted in September.

Have materialized calculate the date of the Explanatory Meeting (experiences, feelings, ...) with some players in the Civic Center Teresa Pàmies in October.

And we have calculated the release date in October Meliès Cinemes therefore, rewards our patrons will be ready in the same month.
