This musical project is linked to the idea of returning sex to its sacred place and takes it as a source of awareness, unconditional love and personal power and this is the theme of the songs and lyrics.
Although I have never been into rock music , I was particularly moved by symphonic rock and so I've wanted to do my little homage in this project, although evolving from different musical styles, evoking , in essence , the symphonic rock .
WHY A NEW CAMPAIGN?
Adapt or die.
In the first season I had great expectations of producing a CD. The road ahead was a classic one, the best known and most followed, but also the most expensive: to go to a professional recording studio, but I failed to meet the required figure.
But life always puts obstacles in our path for us to learn and makes us take chances, experience new things, takes us out of our "comfort zone" and always gives us another chance.
So this "not achieving" our economic target through Verkami is a new challenge. So we are starting this second campaign with a lower economic objective, but enough to acquire the equipment needed to complete a home -studio and therefore record it at home.
WHY I NEED YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS ?
With this system you'll be sponsoring through crowdfunding, it’s not simply giving money to an artist. You have the privilege of contributing with your grain of sand or much more and give your trust to help make the project possible, in exchange for a reward or product, proportional to the input. It's like purchasing in advance.
And it is a way we artists, who do not have funds to finance ourselves, have to take things forward. It’s a way of demonstrating your confidence in us and that makes us grow, and means we can be free and not depend on a single "master".
There are only 40 days to get the amount needed, if the desired target is not reached (which in this case it is virtually guaranteed ), no charges will be made to patron’s cards . What you are doing now is only a "committing to contribute" that contribution only takes effect if the project achieves its goal at the deadline and only then will be collected. Therefore it is very important that you diffuse this between contacts that you think might be interested. I thank you.
Thanks to all who have believed in me and in this project, in the previous Verkami campaign I almost reached 1000 euro and I feel that I cannot waste all this economic capital, but above all the enthusiasm and confidence that you have given me. So I don’t want to disappoint you, nor disappoint myself, although I have to admit that I've gone through moments of doubt .
HOW TO USE THE MONEY?
So, what and how we will be doing things as from now?
We are starting a second crowdfunding campaign in Verkami with an economic objective easily attainable (previously achieved, most of you have confirmed that you will once again contribute) € 1000.
This way we ensure that it will happen. It is important to know that you can continue to contribute once the figure is reached, this only means that the more we receive the easier it will be achieve everything and the more we can offer.
In searching for solutions, the idea emerged of doing it at home.
Today the concept of "home -studio" is widely used and lots of people are developing their musical projects. I have been using my ‘home-studio’ to record the tracks already presented, but it is still precarious.
The money raised will be used to buy a few key pieces to achieve a good final sound (audio interface, quality microphone for voice, microphones for acoustic piano and some other things ) .
Bruno Franquet, my son (who has a great ability in music production and an innate talent in music), and I, are currently using a music production program and he, especially, is gaining experience in mixing and mastering, self-taught (youngsters nowadays ... ).
So, when we get the equipment (which will serve for other productions), along with the studying and homework and also assisted by some highly experienced musicians, we will work on recording the CD.
But besides all this the need has been triggered to further expand the project and therefore, there will be performances where you can hear the Simfonia and probably a small (or large) tour, and patrons will have entries obviously depending on your contribution. So if you want to purchase CD's or tickets for the concert, you can start your contributions.
EXPECTED TIMETABLE
We believe that by the month of March we will have the CD and the first concert.
The musicians are already more or less confirmed and we are certain that between us all it will be a great success.
SHARING WITH SOCIAL CURRENCY
The acquisitions of CDs or tickets for the concerts (excluding contributions to Verkami ) may be paid partially trhough social currency since this project will form part of Girona Ecoxarxa (CES).
It is very important for me to start using this social money "seriously" so that it acquires a value in our mindsets .
REFLECTIONS AND LEARNING
A friend once summarized my Maya horoscope : ' Seed ' , which acts as a 'Hand ' and has the power of the vision of ' Eagle '.
And now I understand this in depth. I have seed setting, and it should not be coincidence that the name of the theme of the symphony is Llavor de Diamant (Diamond Seed) expressing the alchemical process, in this case by sex, which transforms a seed or potential , like a jewel as diamond.
This capability Seed opens roads and processes , must also activate the hand , which is now launching all this machinery but never losing sight of the ‘Eagle , without letting me fall in smallness and meanness of what is done from the ego altered and always taking impeccability and the common good .
