"NunuN's Community" are a group of teachers, families, volunteers and contributors with the same educational values. The community's target is to create a life Project where everyone involved may be able to find company and happiness moments, as well as game spaces. We want a space full of willingness and dreams where we can build a story based on our experience with the children who will be the centre of this dream.
We set off from "educating for being", thinking that families and teachers must share the educational space, respecting the children's life processes and believing in human's being capacity of building him/herself.
One of the community's priority is to open a lively, free, open and participating educational space; based on an active and strongly respectful working method.
Given the difficulty of finding an educational proposal that fits this specific way of understanding education and childhood in our area (Alt Urgell), we have decided to create this space. It is called "The Little School" and is addressed to families who wish to carry on with a respectful and loving breeding process with the children.
We aim to create an space where love, respect to different rhythms, timing ,specific needs of every child and trust in their own development are essential. A place with a free and lively pedagogical method as well as an active and participating working method.
In order to make respectful education available and affordable for everybody as well as creating a sustainable project, we have thought of new economics, organizational, communicating and action-related strategies; searching several ways so that all families who believe in this type of education can participate.
WHAT WILL BE USE YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS FOR?
We will use your contributions to cover the first investment, related to the resources needed in order to start up with the activity in The Little School.
The initial amount to face the "creating expenses" includes all the necessary material to "tune" the place so that we can start the everyday life there. For example: furniture, pedagogical material for the different spaces and so on.
We are asking for your contribution because we don't want the initial investment to be faced by the families, since a lot of them can't afford it.
CALENDAR
If we reach the goal, we will be able to buy together the materials needed to open the school in October and start up the project.
