"AxisOrCa" first album of Carola Ortiz & Landy Gana

Dear Friends, Music Lovers and Musicians,

It was more than a year ago, in the beginning of 2012, that Aurélien 'Landy' and I started this creative adventure together, and began to record an album of our compositions at home. The result is a handcrafted work made with constancy, care, patience and love.

During this time the two of us grew in many ways, performing tasks that we couldn't have imagined ourselves doing before. Landy, beside playing all the bass, drums, percusions and acoustic guitars, learned how to use ProTools, built preamps, recorded all the instruments and also mixed all the tracks. We both wrote the lyrics, in English, French and Catalan, as well as making the arrangements and doing the postproduction together. I recorded the voices and clarinets, and had to work hard to play the keyboards and pianos, as well as a bit of accordion. It was a huge endeavour but we learned so much in the process!

Now we are nearing completion and after such a lot of work we will be so happy to release the album! It will be wonderful to share it with all of you, and for you to enjoy listening to what we have created!

WHAT WE'LL DO WITH YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS:

Your money will help us to complete the last phases of production: mastering, graphic design and physical manufacturing. In exchange for contributions of €10 we offer a digital album, for €20, a physical copy of our beautiful CD... (see the descriptions on right side)

CALENDER:

We hope be able to release the album between August and October. For the EP and the 1st concert we don't know when it will be posible yet.
