BACHCELONA, a new initiative born in Barcelona with the aim of offering a series of activities and concerts linked to the figure of Bach, will be launched on July 2013. The festival will be hosted in emblematic sites of the city - such as the Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar - during July 25-28, the closing day coinciding with the annual commemoration of J. S. Bach’s death.
The activities we propose within the framework of BACHCELONA wish to go beyond the concert form. Our aim is to foster always the experience-side, the interaction, the dissemination and the most unexpected and ludic aspects of J.S. Bach’s music in each one of these activities.
BACHCELONA Festival’s original aim is to further enrich an already existing project in Barcelona, BACH ZUM MITSINGEN, which offers J.S. Bach cantatas in participatory sharing sessions. The BWV 105 cantata, which will close the festival in the Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar on July 28, is actually one of the productions included in this project. WHERE WILL THE MONEY GO?
Organising a Festival entails huge costs. In this case, there are 42 performers who will make listening to Bach during 4 days in Barcelona possible. There are also other expenses including installing sound systems where necessary, graphic and promo material, renting expenses, the Festival’s logistics team, dissemination of the event, graphic and web design, etc.
AGENDA
The Festival will be held from July 25-28 and it will consist of the concerts announced at the website. The festival’s awards will be given in the venues where the concerts are held.

Entenc que per els concerts particiàtius, els qie no participem hem d´anar-hi un rato abans i prou. ¿ Independentment si colem col.laborar un mica economicament , no amb la idea de cap entrada concreta com ho fem?

Aquest concert és el 26 de juliol a les 18h al Monestir de Sant Pau del Camp (aprop de l'avinguda Paral·lel). Una estona abans podràs recollir la teva entrada allà mateix.
Si no poguessis venir, podràs recollir la teva bossa en qualsevol activitat del Festival. Sempre hi haurà una taula per atendre als col·laboradors del Verkami.

Vaig donar 15euros i tinc dret a una entrada pel concert Bach de Cambra, pero no se a on, quan i a quina hora es aquest concert. M'ho podeu aclarir? que passa si no puc venir, perdere la bossa?
