WHO ARE WE?
Anquin Art Gallery has been promoting art and culture for 40 years from its location in Reus, where they have also featured exhibitions of contemporary and emerging artists. The gallery organizes painting competitions for young talents and participates in internationals fairs to promote its artists, at the same time is working in various ongoing cultural projects.
Perico Pastor (La Seu d'Urgell, 1953) is a painter and a designer who lives in Barcelona having had an intense career. He has been illustrator for the "New York Times" and is currently working for "La Vanguardia". One of his earlier projects was the illustration of the Bible by the Encyclopedia Catalana.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO DO
1) An exhibition: On the anniversary of the International Year FORTUNY, Anquin’s Gallery proposes to the renowned artist, Perico Pastor, to make the exhibition "Revisiting FORTUNY". The artist has created 25 watercolours which re-interprets the work of Mariano Fortuny and giving a contemporary perspective. The exhibition is included in the program of events for the International Fortuny Year in the City of Reus, born town of the artist.
2) A print: We will make an edition of an original print by Perico Pastor similar as the watercolour image. This will be a limited edition of 250 copies, 7 inks on Arches Velin paper with dimensions 35x50cm. A part of this edition will be offered at special prices through patronage.
WHERE DO WE DONATE THE MONEY
The money will be donated to make the original print edition of Perico Pastor.

Depending upon your contribution you could receive postcards, catalogues, posters of the exhibition and the added opportunity to book an original print in limited edition by Perico Pastor at a very special price. You could also enjoy a VIP visit with the artist or a drawing or original watercolour.
CALENDAR
From 10th of May to 15th of June of 2013: Exhibition Revisiting Fortuny of PERICO PASTOR at the Anquin's Art Gallery C/ Campoamor, 2 in Reus. Timetable: from monday to friday, from 10,30 to 13,30 and from 17 to 20,30 h. saturdays, from 10,30 to 13,30h.
Saturday 8th of May: Delivery of prints, postcards, catalogues and posters in Anquin’s Gallery in Reus.
From 12 of June: Sending rewards, posters and prints at home. Sending prize: 5€. Catalogues and postcards: free sending.
