Stories appear in our lives of hundreds of different ways.
Some stories we write without realizing it, others we know them voluntarily and some of them are imagined and created for pleasure.
This was born the door, the mind and the hope of Luis Alemany, and the love and enthusiasm of Maria Jose Bernal. Based on an original text from L.Alemany whose development has spent six months.
“The Door” is a story of fantasy, where common elements interact with each other/between them causing extraordinary situations which will play with our characters.
This is a project created by young and enterprising artists with some experiences in this area who wish to continue to broaden their horizons/ to extend the frontiers of their creations.
Mystery and intrigue together/meet in “The Door”, components that undoubtedly will leave the viewer breathless and wanting to know more.
SYNOPSIS
A man runs through the forest when he discovers a door which is wedged between two trees that will completely change his destiny.
ACTORS
Luis Mottola will be Nicholas, the protagonist of “The Door”.
His career develops in theater, film and television. In the last we may emphasis his appearance in prime time series as The Boarding School Black Lagoon, Physical or Chemical, No One Could Live Here, Serrano’s Family or Tell me how it happened. Besides Family Business and Myths and Legends some of the plays in which he has participated have been Fallen from heaven, Criminal or The accompaniment.
Beatriz Rico is Diana, Nicholas’ wife, a essencial part in the plot of “The Door”.
Throughout her career we can highlight she has worked on The Price is Right,At eleven at home, Open 24 hours or One Step Forward. In theater has carried out works such as Don Juan Tenorio, Demoiselles d'Avignon, The 39 Steps or Best widowed than bad married. And finally, has participated in films like Nightmare rich and Lázaro de Tormes of Fernan Gomez, Story of a Kiss and Carousel c.1950 both of José Luis Garci, Ashes of Heaven de Quiros, Hug me of Carrizosa or The daughters of Danaus Fran Kapilla, among others.
FOR WHAT WE NEED MONEY?
The money is being spent on part of the preproduction and production of the film itself.
8,500 €!
The door is going to shoot in The Irati Forest (Navarra) and the necessity to move up to there the crew and actors is an extra expense on accommodation, diets and transport.
Moreover the rent of the technical material, both lighting as sound, add an important part of the budget, not to mention the elements of props and most importantly, the construction of the door.
WHEN WE SHOOT
The Door will be shot in April, so the project will be completed by midsummer.
When the film has been completed you will receive your reward. How? Very easy ...
The film will premiere in cities across the Spanish territory, you are invited to the opening of the city nearest you. There you can personally collect your reward.
In case you can not attend the premiere we will send you the reward directly to your home.
